The Los Angeles Times Magazine came up with their list of 50 Signature Bags. It’s an interesting list.. some of which I agree with, and others that made me go “What?!”.
Anyway, for you fashionistas here.. here’s the list. I graffiti’d all over it with my comments (in pink) 😛 And at the bottom is my top “it” bag list. Agree/disagree?

personally i like the Le Pliage totes. they’re very basic and not quite trendy but that’s the beauty of them IMO. they go well with casual outfits esp. for travelling because they’re roomy yet light so you can fit a lot into the bag and it still wouldn’t be too heavy to carry around. very low maintenance too because they’re made of a sturdy and water-resistant nylon.
I adore my baby spy… super light and spacious but I must say of the bags are ????????? never heard of them at all… is this article being written by someone who knows limited fashion? Terrible! ;p

I love the LV’s (Monogram Canvas)! I especially love the Neverfulls except for the *GM* size. It’s waaay too big and everytime I use mine, I’ve either knocked over water glasses in restaurants with it or banged something or someone. As for the Speedy, like you mentioned, it’s difficult to get things in and out of this bag. ^___^

It’s not soft for me 🙁 At least not at the levels that I like my bag to be (slouchy like that Balenciaga town bag I posted about last week).. Oddly, it’s not a v popular bag in Shanghai!
Really? I find it does not slouch as much as B bags because they’re much thicker, but still as soft. They’re lambskin too.
I like the Prada Gauffre bag in leather, the one with only two rows of pleats (3 rows look overdone) until someone I told about it bought it and carries it to work every single day. Now I hate it. =/
I totally agree with LV Speedy. Looks reli nice but it looks like it’d be hard to get things in/out of. And if there’s too much stuff in it, it gets out of shape from the weight.
Also, I love this entry!
