LOL at your tiger stripes! Ha ha ha! I use Kosmea too on occasion. In fact I bought mini sized bottles of all the Kosmea stuff for my trip to the US!
And does your t-shirt say I love Prata? Like roti prata?
Hahah it does! My cousin bought it for me π
Wow where did he get it from? It is hilarious! I’ve never seen anything like it, ha ha!
No idea.. it says redballoon on the tee though, maybe a store in SG makes it?
Bev, that is too funny! Microdermabrasion totally hurt and I learned the hard way that you just cannot slap any ol’ thing on your face afterwards. Will now include spray tan on to the list ! π
Spray tan is eeeeevil I”ve learned. So scared off it I don’t think I”ll attempt that again!
ouchies! they say to wait a week before doing anything else to your face after microabrasion. i had it done once, and my face was totally red and tender! but they don’t recommend it for younger skin, mostly older skin, cause they couldn’t really do more than one pass on my face with the machine.
yeah a week sounds about right, d’oh! i LOVE micro for my skin though, every month or so.. it works far better than any skincare and has really cleared up my skin π
Hopefully it’s calmed down a bit more today. I still can’t believe she didn’t know to tell you not to do it! I think I might have to get back into Kosmea too, I had their rosehip oil ages ago, is good to have on hand!
I’m really pleased with it.. i like how its so natural and nothing irritating to my poor skin. gotta stock up now!

is the rose hip oil oily?
my sis is coming back to sg from sydney during the sch hols, any suggestions what I can ask her to bring back for me? ;p
It’s an oil so it spreads oily, but then absorbs real quick.. i have combo skin with a really oily tzone and it’s really helped out. I think it plumps up the skin so your skin doesnt feel the need to overproduce oil…
Heh ask for timtams!
Ouch, sounds painful but it’s not that obvious in photos, they look more like scratches!
I’m using the Akin rose hip oil but might give the Kosmea one a go after I finish my bottle π
Yeah it looks like I got attacked or something heh.
I have the Akin oil too but I do prefer the Kosmea… their oil and the SPF30 is just amazing!
aww you poor thing :(!! does make-up cover it??
It makes it waaay worse cos it clings to the stripes so they go even darker and flakier! ahhhhh!
awww poor babe! now you know~~
Yeah, i wish someone had warned me though, doh!
heh you can go warn others!
oh no! At least though it wasn’t your whole face like the eye area, that would be horrible.
It’s not as noticeable in the 1st photo though!
True, it’s just on the surface so I know it’ll heal.. now it’s all peeling off but not sore anymore, whew!

Microdermabrasion! So that’s how you get such lovely glowy skin.
Do you get it done on the North side or in the city?
It’s awesome! Good once a month though, not after a week like I did π
You’re in Syd too right? if you’re interested i have a voucher for 6 courses of micro worth $620 but costs $550 π It’s at Splashclinic.com.au
Thanks for the offer Bev, but I think I’ll try one treatment and see if my super-sensitive skin can handle it before I buy a series of treatments. Sweet of you. I’ll check out Splashclinic too. Thanks for the recommendation.
I think it looks like you’ve been initiated into some kind of tribe π
Very true π It’s so annoying tho! at least today it’s heaps better after all the Kosmea skincare..
I love your tee-shirt!! π
Heh, my cousin gave it to me for my birthday – it’s VERY apt π
awww poor babe! now you know~~
Yeah, i wish someone had warned me though, doh!

You silly silly girl!!!
Pfftttt to you too, how was i supposed ot know something like that?!
Omg, that’s terrible to have to happen to you. It looked like you had a nervous breakdown and scratched your face like such.
But no worries though, I’m sure they will be gone before you know it. =)
Hah true, or got into a fight with someone π
Well, you taught your blog readers a valuable lesson!
IAWTC! You probably saved many of us from doing the same thing. I wonder if it’s okay to spray tan right after body exfoliation?
Yeah, but wish i wasn’t the one to take the hit on that lesson, haha!
I’m pretty sure tanning after body exfoliation is actually a good thing.. cos spas always offer that before a tanning session!
oh no! At least though it wasn’t your whole face like the eye area, that would be horrible.
