Kopitiam Cafe
594 Harris St
Ultimo, NSW 2007
M is for Malaysian and Kopitiam Cafe offers the best Malaysian/Singaporean food you’ll find in the heart of Sydney city. We reserved their big banquet table and proceeded to order every dish under “Hawker Favourites”, and just shared it all around. The place is very no-frills with zero decor and ambience.. in true Malaysian style π Unfortunately, the service is also the same – it was nonexistent and our lady server was completely and utterly hopeless. Fortunately, their food is brilliant and reasonably priced (we ate and ate ’til we could eat no more and it came up to $20pp) so that’s their saving grace π

Hehe the benefit of using a mega and professional camera. I SO want one!
the photos look lovely! what camera did you use to take those shots?
It’s my friend’s awesome camera.. this mega one :X
Scrummy! And again, I can’t believe I’m saying that after stuffing my face again…this time with that addictive Pepper Lunch! heehee
Glad ya like Peppers..I’m totally addicted to the place! Wish they were closer to my work tho…
Looks awesome. No such food here, would have to drive 13 hours to San Francisco to get anything like it. I was especially keen on the photo of the shrimp dish and the satay dish. Mmmmm.
Oooo but SF does have fab food! I loved it there :)~
Looks delicious! Your photos look really pro.. all focused and sharp!

The Gado Gado looks great :). I’m making a mental note to go here with my Malaysian friends!
Haha that was the one I did NOT eat cos it was vegetarian π
Wow, that’s a lot of food! That’s awesome that you can get it for $20/person.
It was a fairly good deal for Sydney food places, so we were happy!
