I wonder, if the companies there allow employees drinking beer during lunch at workdays.
I once forgot and ordered a bottle to accompany my lunch. Coincidentally, my chef came to the same place and took a table next to us. I should thank one of my colleagues then, who took and hid my bottle fast 🙂
Oh wow, I’d always thought it was normal! At both Microsoft and eBay, having a few drinks if we’re out for lunch is really normal… and every friday afternoon, we break out the wine and beer from our office fridges and have drinks at our desks.
Yum! The money bags and the satay chicken look amazing!
the entrees are just yummilicious, better than the mains IMHO!

Hmm…don’t think I’ve ever tried the food at Brooklyn. I only go there for the free vino and bubbly! Haha. Btw, did you pick up anything at the sale yesterday? I popped by for a bit this morning and got 2 pairs of boots.
It’s not bad, but quite $$ – or rather, just standard City prices I guess.
I got boots too! And the red fur jacket.. I’ll have to take pics and post 🙂 Do post yours too!

me too! It’s yum. There’s also beer by Red Oak that I adore.. but it’s a boutique beer and pretty much only served in their cafe, grrrrr

I miss lunch with collegues. The chicken breasts and the “money bags” look particularly interesting.
Lunches on weekdays are just lovely, esp when it’s bright and sunny outside!
