This is my eye.
It’s a little red, cos I took this photo immediately after my eyelash perm.
Yup… vanity knows no boundaries.
This isn’t a new thing, lash perming has been around for ages. In fact, I’ve done it before, years ago during my pre-baby days. But, this was my 1st lash perm post-kids! I’ve been wanting to do it for about 4 months now, but could never find the time to (ugh). But when my FIL was here and Chris had the day off, I took the opportunity to chuck both kids at them, and scooted off for an hour!
The process isn’t painful at all, but it’s boring and annoying. You have to keep your eyes closed the entire time, and it’s irritating feeling someone apply the perm lotion on my lashes, then ‘brush’ them onto rollers to set them.
But PHWOAAARRRRR the results!!!!
The above pic is with zero mascara, zero lash curler. It’s just my lashes, au naturale.
In fact, it’s a little too curly.. so much so that the tips hit my eyelids. But, after a few days, it settles down a bit and it’s not as ZOMG SCHWING!
It lasts for about 1-2 months, depending on how much you swim and/or rub your eyes.
I think it’s well worth it, because I love how ‘fresh’ I look with zero makeup on. You kinda rank looking awake very high up when you’re a mum of young kids…
I got mine done at Browhaus. They give me peace of mind that they’ll do a good job – kinda critical when it’s your eyes they’re fussing with!

It’s funny. I realise that women pay good money and waste time doing to their lashes what Hunter has naturally.
Are they expensive to do lash perm at browhaus?
It’s def not cheap.. I think $70+? Some other places may be cheaper but I’m scared, I prefer Browhaus since they’re established and a huge name in Singapore!

Oh my! I have not heard of an eyebrow perm before. Looks awesome!!! Pity that its not a permanent perm though! And Hunter’s eyelashes are a killer!
It IS permanent! As in, it’ll last until your lashes fall out.. which is 1-2 months
Lucky u! I tried the perm two years ago but the girl said my lashes were too short and straight and they had to it twice! Imagine double the time I had to sit there and in the end the result only lasted two weeks! 🙁
Eeeek that is annoying! I didn’t even know that it could be ineffective and require doing it twice – after all, straight hair on your head goes wavy when permed, right?!
