PHOTO DUMP AT 35 WEEKS PREGNANT 11 July 2012
I’m now almostΒ 35 weeks pregnant, so hoping to give birth any day now. Err…. hopefully!! The earlier the better, because then my chance of a Natural birth will be higher. So please pray for me π Baby #2’s head has dropped super-low in my pelvis.. basically as low as he can get without actually being born – LOL. This means I can actually feel his skull pressing up against my cervix when I walk, or when I roll over in bed… a very weird feeling.
I’m also trying to be very zen about the fact that I may have a Cesarean instead, and just letting it all rest in God’s hands. This time round, I won’t tell myself only shit mums have Cesareans, because that’s not true. Must learn to go easy on myself. There are many personal and medical reasons why women have Cesareans, and when I look at Hunter and see him healthy and happy, I tell myself it was the RIGHT decision, and so there.
Anyhoodle.
Here’s a big influx of Hunter-related photos that I’m dumping here for posterity π Little one is gonna be a BIG BROTHER soon, and will learn quick-smart that the world does not actually revolve around him, and he will have to fight for attention etc etc. He wails when he’s away from me, and gets agitated if he sees me cuddling my girl friends’ kids….. so it will be a bit of an emotional rollercoaster for him!
These kids can sniff out people eating snacks a mile off….

Can Hunter really finish all that salmon? My bub is 16 months and eats porridge everyday. No idea how much protein toddlers really need.
It actually isn’t that much, just 3 small fingers! In general he eats about half-a-palm worth of salmon π
Wow time certainly flies. Seems like it wasnt that long ago since you announced you were pregnant. Good luck and all the best for a smooth delivery!
Thank you hon!
Hey Bev, wow you’re gonna see your #2 so soon!
I know what you mean about caesarean. I had an emergency caesarean and Sammy was huge at birth too, 4.06kg. I really wish and pray that you’ll have a natural birth the second time round. I can TOTALLY understand how you must be feeling about wanting to have a VBAC for #2.
That’s what I tell myself too. That it was the right decision to do a C-section cos Sammy is healthy.
Yeah.. it was tough facing the fact that I didn’t have a natural birth with Hunter (never imagined I wouldn’t!), but many children aren’t natural births either and turned out just fine, so I will accept it if I can’t for #2 either!
I like Hunter’s bus ride photo, so cute! Have you tried MRT and maybe trishaw ride for him too! π
He’s been on the MRT 3-4 times and quite liked it, esp seeing the trees whizzing past! Not a trishaw ride tho.. cos I have no idea how to make sure he doesn’t scramble down, lol
Wow Bev, time flies. I didn’t realize you are about to deliver any time now. Hope everything goes smooth! Take a good care babe!
Well… I will be OK to give birth in 2 weeks time, but hopefully that flies bye, heh. Thank you for your well wishes hon!
full term at 37 weeks..so here’s hoping #2 will make a natural entrance then. π
I am desperately praying for that, that’s for sure!! But, will also make an effort to be more zen this time round if I end up with cesarean….. π
Is your doctor enthusiastic about VBAC, or is he/she reluctant to try?
It makes such a difference when you’ve got an encouraging doctor.
Good luck Bev. I hope you have the birth you want.
She’s around smack in the middle! At the moment she’s just assuming natural birth and is already preparing for it, but I think once I hit week 39 she’s gonna start getting real nervous – as I have a history of big babies and she’s worried that my prev birth was an emergency cesarean.
LOL @ wailing for both you and Hunter..that gave me an adorable vision..hehe
I just realized something…Hunter and no. 2 will have a treasure chest of memories from your blog!! I think that’s awesome!! π
I hope they will like reading back on their early years, hehe! That’s the beauty of blogging I guess π
