I’ve been to The Marmalade Pantry a ton of times.. maybe around 10 times so far? It’s my favourite go-to place when hanging out with girl friends, especially if we have babies on tow. They’re incredibly ‘child friend to bring Hunter, if not my favourite. I’ve also heard that the Nursing/changing room is top-notch, but I’ve never used it before so I can’t comment on that!

We had some visiting French friends (that we knew when we lived in Australia) and so took them there. They have a 1.5 year old daughter that’s just gorgeous! Big brown eyes and a shock of thick brown hair. She understands French, Mandarin and English. How fabulously multi-cultural is that??

That day, it seemed that half of Singapore was also at Marmalade Pantry. We ran into THREE sets of people I knew there. Talk about coincidental! Guess most of Singapore like the cafe too 😛

The funny thing about having a child is that you don’t really focus on food anymore. You’re too busy looking after them, entertaining them, feeding them, etc etc.. that now when I look at a menu, the main things I think about are “Is it edible with one hand, if the need suffices?”, “Can it be eaten cold if I have to leave the dish sitting there for 15 mins?”, etc. And I tend to just stuff food in my face, and not really concentrate on it.. because my attention is 90% of Hunter. How times have changed, eh? And thus why there is a significant lack of food reviews here.. I either don’t have the time to go out and dine, or I’m not really appreciating the food at its fullest extent as I’m distracted, or I simply don’t have the time to take/edit photos and blog it. Wonder when I’ll be able to do that again….. if ever?
