I love how you describe the surprise appearance to your mum and dad’s house, so sweet, cute and fun! I can imagine how happy your parents must be!
Man the restaurants looks good in pure French tradition (except for the name…). Frisee aux lardons is my fave salad! And the cake in the shape of a bell is called Cannele (with an accent on the last e) and is flavoured with Grand Marnier. It’s also my fave cos like you said it’s crunchy on the outside and moist in the inside.
For the special book, how many pages did you fill out with pics and text? That is had work!

i’ve passed by Gunther’s many times, because it’s near my favourite beef noodles stall. But i never knew it sat so little. Food looks great though!
OOH what beef noodles stall is it?
I love Chin Chin chicken rice which is near there too, it’s amazing
