if you liked the pho with blood theres no shortage of things with blood in them in shanghai!
theres one thats meant to be really goo – i think its duck with blood and vermicelli noodles soup. unfortunately i think its mostly a small street food kind of thing, and i dont know exactly the chinese, but its pretty good if you can handle that theres blood in it (i had some trouble cos i was like eww im not a vampire!) and its super cheap. i think my bowl was like 5 or 6 yuan for the bowl?
yeah i don’t think I can handle the blood thing.. esp in china. too scared π

Mmmmm pho!!! π None of the pho restaurants in my area look as nice *clean* as the ones I’ve seen in your pictures. LOL
Haha yeah this one is particularly nice-looking, the hole-in-the-wall ones taste soooo good but are a bit dodgy looking haha
“So Pho, So Good”. In Edmonton, there’s a restaurant called “Pho-bulous” – what is it with the random puns π
*groan* the cheesiness… haha!
Hahaha, I like your junk food tee! π
Hee sharp eyes! It’s so soft and comfy too π
Pho An ain’t as great as it used to be. But I still find their service very efficient, esp the way the waiters take your order!
The place down around the corner is muuuch better, Dong Ba, and they serve MASSIVE bowls of pho. But further up the road is Habibs (past the RSL) – a lebanese place that does fab charcoal grilled chicken and garlic sauce. If you eat in, for about $10 you’ll be stuffed to the gills with DIY mini wraps of chicken, salad (assorted pickles, tabouli), chips, and a drink.
I thought the food was really nice, but the other place my parents, Chris and I went to in Cabramatta was even better!
Man I should’ve asked you before we went, hehehe. Dong Ba sounds so good….
the beef blood soup sounds abit *scary* :S
I have never tried pho before!! i dont think i can get it here in Copenhagen..dont even know if we have any Vietnamese restaurants..:(
It was freaaaaky, I don’t think I’d have it again π
Pho is sooo good, def check it out when you’re in Asia!

I will miss your food posts so much. It always gives me idea where to go to eat in sydney :(. I love Pho AN! they keep expanding though its huge now. Cafe cya also has the best jap chae :D!
Hehe well soon you’ll know places to go to in Shanghai! π
Is that the potato noodles? i’ve had it theretoo, its soooooo good
omg 45mins!!! where abouts are you??? I’m heading out to bankstown tomorrow… We are in Ashfield at the moment, moving to Manly beach next week…
x
We’re right in the city so it takes awhile to get there with the streets and traffic.
Manly is lovely, and perfect timing for summer!
Yum, that pho looks amazing, can’t believe I haven’t had one yet!
Ha ha, Sooooo much walking!! My legs were so tired.
YOu haven’t?! Argh.. I bet you’ll love it. Maybe we can all go after work in the 1st wk of Dec?
Sounds good, we’ll have to plan a couple more dinner dates before you go for sure!
Wow, you’re so brave to continue drinking it even after knowing it’s beef blood π Pig blood (all coagulated in cubes) is pretty popular for use in curry noodles here and I never touch it!
I was sccaaaared once I found out, but man it did taste nice!
