Soooo… what am I dressed as??
Saturday night was my girl friend’s birthday party @ St James! It was one looooong craaaaazy night.. spanning 8pm to 4am. I think I’m getting too old for this kinda late night partying, as I’m knackered today 😉 On the downside, we did eat (ok, inhale) naughty food like spring rolls, chips, pizza, brownies, etc.. but on the plusside, I’m convinced all the dancing was was enough exercise to last me for a week. At least.
Lots of people rocked up. When we arrived, I only knew a small handful of people at the party but left having met almost everyone, so it was really fun 🙂 We had the upper-room booked out for the function and so we could play our own music and have our own bar – cool! The theme was 90s which is actually kinda hard.. I was initially going to go as Cher from Clueless.. but then I had this sailor outfit that I bought on eBay for another party, and I re-worked it into a SAILOR MOON outfit! I’ve never watched Sailor Moon in my life but basically just based it around this:

I figured I look equally as insane, so it would work 😉 Unfortunately, pretty much no one guessed I was Sailor Moon, mainly because no one had seen the cartoon either! D’oh 😉 The outfit was only <$15 on eBay but it was a lot.. errr.. smaller than I'd imagined. It was small on the model, but I figured that since I'm a midget, it would look like a normal out fit on me. Not really! It was really short!! Felt rather brief in it, but at least I had long socks and gloves which (kinda) helped. On the plus side, it got really hot/sweaty in there so at least I was appropriately dressed 😉 Music was fun, people were fun, and the outfits were totally hilarious! There were a squillion photos taken and I've only got some of them on my digicam.. so here they are:

I was in Sydney on the w/end and my friends wanted to go the the Argyle. They wouldn’t let us in because they had an ego-tripping bouncer who stared at people’s shoes and my friend’s shoes were apparently “inappropriate”. I thought he must’ve been joking! Idiot.
DEFINITELY no pigtails.. haha.. I tried that and I seriously looked like a 12-yr-old school girl *shudders*
Yeah the bouncers are FAMOUS for that ‘shoe’ thing, that they tend to apply randomly too, I might add. Plus they’re also RUDE about it. NOT HAPPY!
