WHAT’S IN THE BOX?????????!!
Been eyeing the Louis Vuitton tambour watch for almost 2 years now, and finally decided to get it. I figure that since I’m a ‘one watch only’ kinda girl, it would be worth it, especially since I wear it everyday. I wore my previous watch for 5 years daily! I bought it off a colleague and decided that I wanted to change the band to a steel one, since it’s more sturdy and will last “a lifetime” – according to the Louis Vuitton SA 😉 I think it suits the watch better, and I’d never be able to keep a leather band clean..
The boutique was really great and let me swap the pink leather band for the steel one. It looks so much better IMHO! And best yet, it’s custom-fit to my wrist.. and I can take it back to the boutique to make it bigger in summer if I choose. I really really love it and it’s a great *ahem* investment piece since it will last forever. I know people treat Rolex and Omega as investment pieces, but for the price, I’d much rather my Louis Vuitton – a brand that I actually love, instead of spending $$ on some random brand just because it’s expensive. I can’t stop staring at the watch on my wrist now… I LOVE IT! *happy dance*

Gorgeous. I’ve always loved the faces of LV watches but not the band….but now that I know they can switch to steel bands…..I want one.
I’m a big fan of the steel band because it’s shiny but also durable. but the leather ones come in so many colours, it’s so tempting!

I have tiny wrists, too. It’s so hard to find things that fit them.
I have had a few watches, but never wear them… having something on my wrist drives me crazy and I always end up bashing it against things constantly. I wish I could wear them!
I agree! That’s why I’m so pleased with this one.. she kept adjusting and adjusting til it was perfect. TOok her almost half an hour but it was worth it, esp since they’ll resize again for free forever. Yay!

Agree, I really like the coloured bands.. I figure maybe I can get those for my birthdays or something, heh! They have a bright pink (framboise) one that I was lusting over, I so want that too!
