I haven’t been to To’s Malaysian in… months, maybe? Too long, that’s all I can say! Was really craving it and since I was some Usability studies in North Sydney, I decided to hit To’s for lunch. Had my usual Char Hor Fun – a jumble of flat rice noodles in a rich gravy and topped with a generous portion of assorted seafood. Delish! I can’t find any other place in Sydney that makes Hor Fun like this place.. it’s superb. Not too salty, just very very tasty. On the downside, it’s a whopping $10 – the same thing would cost around $3 in Singapore πŸ™

Decided to get some Beef Rendang as takeaway to have for dinner. It was perfection – big chunks of melty beef in a creamy rich thick gravy. Mmmmm…… :)~ A bit on the salty side, but the luscious texture makes up for it.

I miss peranakan food πŸ™ I envy you for living in Australia. Nowhere in Europe you can find any authentic southeast asian culinary delight and if there’s any, not for 10 dollars.

Yeah that’s what’s good about living in AU.. it’s super multicultural so I can get my SG food fix. Whew! πŸ™‚

I used to go there when I worked in North Sydney, however, I found it a bit pricey for the size of the servings they give. I have no hassles in paying more so long as it matched in quantity. I’d always leave feeling half satisfied.

I’m hungering to find good beef hor fun in Sydney. So far I haven’t had much luck! That looks pretty good so I might have to try!

This place is GOOD!@!! And their chicken rice and laksa ain’t bad either. Just wish they were in the city….
