Kobe Jones – haven’t been there in months! We had a lovely dinner there, but unfortunately the photos didn’t quite turn out since the restaurant is incredibly dark, with only candle-light at our tables. It’s moody, dark and very cool.. but my camera didn’t think so 😉 It was unusually quiet, I suppose it’s not surprising since it was a Monday night. The nice manager wasn’t there unfortunately and whilst the service is polite, it’s not very warm or friendly. We enjoyed ourselves though since we had a table outside along the waterfront.

Everything looks great, I like how the dessert is artfully presented.
I was just there on Sat night and ordered very similar dishes to you. 🙂 Have you tried the Island Style Ahi Special (seared tuna)? We ordered this for the first time and I actually prefer it to the tuna tataki. The beef tataki is also yum.
HOLY CRAP! Even though my tummy’s been playing up this week, I want EVERYthing! But especially the Volcano Roll, Mushroom Medley and Beef Katsu!!!!

It’s soooo good when done well! I don’t like tuna sashimi that much but tataki’s the best :)~
