A few of us hit the Belgian Beer Café for dinner, since it’s very conveniently located in the City. It’s surprisingly busy on a working night, pretty much every table was full and the bar had suits milling around chatting over a beer. A ‘heritage’ restaurant/bar, Belgian Beer Cafe features, what else?, Belgian beer! And they offer the lovely, and my favourite, Hoegaarden beer. Mmmmm.
We were seated quickly despite not having a reservation, and our pony-tailed waiter was cheery and a total delight. The food also came out lightning quick, which was very strange, but I’m certainly not complaining 😉 It was nice having some beers over a good meal, though we were pretty stuffed afterwards!
