Love your Missoni scarf. π Is it still available in stores? I’ve been lemming one for ages!
I got the last one! It’s now sold out worldwide :X I do love it though, I use it pretty much every day when the weather turns cold.. as it’s super soft π Maybe one might pop up on eBay eventually?
i LOVE that all your latest food reviews are for place close to me! (i live in turlock, about a hundred miles inland from san jose.) i’m definitely taking my best friend to that mexican restaurant… i can’t believe they smash avocados right at your table! π
sorry about your two yucky experiences, but bomb-diggety mexican food makes up for ’em, right? i don’t feel too sorry for you π
Pretty much every single table ordered the guacamole, I reckon they’re the special.. Hope you’ll like the restaurant too! π
I am sorry that you got bad service and your t-shirt are too cute to wear! But now I am on the hunt to find them!
Def check em out! The 2 tees were “2 for $20” and the hearts one was $12 or something like that. Bargains
Sorry that you had a rough time with all your meals, however your shirts are cute!
Yeah I’m really happy with the tops, super-soft thin tops seem to be really popular in the USA.. they’re hard to find in AU!
Don’t you get free breakfast at the hotel?
Nah, weirdly, this hotel doesn’t
My favorite sushi place for rolls is Midori in Sunnyvale, you should try to make it over there, it seems to be pretty close to where you are! It’s on El Camino Real.
Los Gatos is a small town near you that you should really check out! Has lots of cute boutiques and lovely little restaurants. There is one called “Sushi on the Run” that sits EIGHT people but the owner goes out to get fresh fish everyday, the nigiri is supposed to be amazing. The Los Gatos Cafe there has a great breakfast with fabulous whipped omelettes, it’s on N. Santa Cruz blvd if you want to check it out.
And I’ll have to try Consuelos, looks simply amazing
Ahhh no more Japanese for me, I am so sick of it now, hehe! I might be going Paolo Alto on Sun but apart from that, it’s only Union Square for me as I have no car :X
Haha, you DO frequent Japanese places a lot! Palo Alto is so much fun, I love the Stanford Shopping Centre!
Mmm, Mexican food. I too am amazed when people say they haven’t really had it before since I live in southern California. Reminder to self: do not take Mexican food for granted. =) I love it after a night of drinking, especially.
Yeah Mexican’s so popular here in California, as is Japanese food!
haha.. i couldn’t imagine how the speed of the boats.. but after seeing the photo that you’ve posted.. WOW! they must be rushing to go somewhere!
ooh, the cinnabon looks delish (i love the combination of cinnamon & bread) and i love all of the tees that you’ve bought!
I had my camera set to the standard default settings too, and it still couldn’t capture the boats cos they were too quick, haha!
hi Bev The tees are so cute! I wanna order wetseal online now… May I knwo what size you got and how the fit is?
I got a Small as that’s the smallest size they have unfortunately! But it’s still ok, just not a fitted tee or anything. They’re so so so soft and comfy π
oh you may wanna order online coz they have it in XS!
Oooooh COOOL thanks for the tip!
Ohh, the cinnabon looks good! Cute tees too. :DDD
You actually remembered all the Mexican dish’s names??
I think SG has cinnabons too but not sure if it’s the same/as good as the one here. Wish we had it in AU!
Heh nah I got the Mexican names off the website
I love mexican food!
Wow, being from California and all, this statement was amazing to me: “I’ve never really had Mexican food before…” I’m glad you were finally able to try it! Although, I don’t think I’ve ever had really nice mexican food. I mostly just eat the semi-shady stuff at Roberto’s.
Re: I love mexican food!
Yeah Mexican’s so uncommon in Australia which is a shame. Hey sometimes the little hole-in-the-wall places serve the best and most authentic food!
Gahhh! I love Mexican, and that place looks AWESOME!!!!! The Callos de hacha…everything!: *drool* Our fave Mexican place was Hot Salsa at Annandale, but they’ve been closed and looking for a new location for a while. π
Ick, shame about the sushi and breaky though.
I think it was fairly authentic, but then again I’ve never really had mexican food!

eek i hate bad service :(.
if you get a chance to head out in that direction, you should try out Sushi House in Alameda (@ Southshore). it’s awesome but beware of the wait.
She wasn’t particularly really rude or anything, but just not lovely/charming like most people are here!
I’m not anywhere near Alameda unfortunately, just around the Santana Row area!
