Haven’t baked in ages, so decided to make some cookies. Surfed around the internet and found this recipe
Ready to go in the oven..
Homebaked Flourless Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cookies
Served freshly-baked and moist
Homebaked Flourless Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cookies
1 cup super chunky peanut butter
0.7 cup dark brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mini dark chocolate chips
1) Preheat oven to 150Β°c.
2) Mix all ingredients except chocolate in a bowl. Mix in chocolate chips.
3) Using moistened hands, form generous 1 tbsp dough for each cookie into a ball. Arrange on baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
4) Bake cookies until puffed, golden on bottom and still soft to touch in center, about 10 minutes.
Hey, I actually tried this recipe, but it turned out too salty!!!! :(:(
So weird, as there’s no salt in the receipe?! perhaps the peanut butter you used had a high salt content.. or maybe add extra sugar?

hey bev! i tried making them today. ABSOLUTELY YUMMYLICIOUS!!!!!!
they taste best straight from the oven though. had one at night and it wasn’t as shoik! π
Yayyy glad it worked out! For my leftovers I put them in the fridge then zap for a few secs in the microwave, they’re much better that way π
hey that’s a really good idea! it’s really hot here in perth and the cookies were having a hard time staying in one piece.. that is, till i popped them in the fridge π it tastes pretty good cold too. haha.
btw sorry to hear abt you and chris.. hope you feel better soon π
bake more and have more comfort food π and share your recipes with us!! π
Haha you’re right, if it’s really hot weather the cookies would be all melty π Good solution though!

Mmmm they look yummy! I probably shouldn’t make them though, I’ve been baking wayyyy too much lately haha:)
You can bake ’em and just have a few and give the rest away π I’m bringing half of mine to work so I don’t wolf ’em all down!
You always have the best recipes on your blog, Beverly! π
Will try this one out!
Awww thanks! hope you like it too:)
wow those look so good! i love fudgy freshly baked cookies, i love how you can still see the melting chocolate in the photos!
Desserts straight out of the oven taste sooooo much better than re-heated ones, IMHO! :)~
hehehe that is the exact same recipe i used in my food product development class where we had to develop a flourless cookie… tops job dude!
Haha cool! Theyre so good aren’t they.. I prefer them to the ones with flour cos these stay really moist
woa look so yummy!! are they too sweet? or just right?? i think i will make them tonight π hehe i was thinking about what to make for dessert and these are definitely the right choice cos i love peanut butter and chocolate..and they seem easy to make!
They’re sweet, but like any other cookie I guess! I used 0.7 cup sugar instead of the 1 cup in the actual recipe tho, just in case π
Looks SO amazing!! :DDD
They’re sooo tasty *smacks lips* π

Those looks sooooo good. And the ingredients are close to “no-bake” cookies. Anything with peanute butter and chocolate is the perfect prescription for PMS. π Mmm…
yeah it’s really simple, with minimal ingredients. Woo hoo!
