i get so jealous every time you post about these cool events in the internet marketing industry, no fair! ;( i’m not sure if i’ve asked this yet, but did you do any particular subjects in uni that enabled you to pursue this particualr career path?
p.s. i haven’t had the opportunity to say this because things have been so so hectic lately but THANK YOU SO MUCH for the kobe jones recommendations!!!!! my birthday dinner was superb, no question about it – the menu recs were lovely also 🙂 the only thing i wasn’t too keen on was the sushi cake which everyone insisted i *HAD* to have given the day, but suffice to say i’ll pass next time ;X
i’d like to recommend you another awesome japanese resturant also, but being the food connoisseur that you are, you’ve probably already been to masuyas ;( just went there the other week and that was delish also!

I did Computer Science and Psychology at uni.. so nothing to do with my career 😛 I basically just applied for the role and I guess since I had Microsoft and CSIRO on my resume, they were interested in hiring me.
What’s the sushi cake?? glad you had a good time! The food there is soooo good. And I”ve heard and seen that Jap place, but I haven’t gotten a chance to go there yet! 🙁
oh excellent! I hope that perhaps I might be able to do a sneaky sidestep like that too, given the industry placements with IBM, Vodafone + another company by the end of my degree – fingers crossed! 😉
EWW sushi cake was on the dessert menu – it was sushi topped with green tea ice cream with 2 of those delish chocolate logs on the side!! crazy. I tricked my brother and boyfriend into eating the ice cream without knowing that the sushi was beneath it – euuuuuugh! hehe.
as for masuya’s, there is this amazing sashimi dish that comes in a BOAT! 😀 i was defintiely amused by that – must try it when do you get around to it!

had my yr 10 formal on that boat! it seems much more suitable for the working, office christmas party crowd though, i think as high schoolers we didnt fully appreciate the seafood buffet 😛
