The fries were actually a bit weird, i’ve never had fries like that before! They were a bit powdery.. they didn’t taste like McDonalds or normal shoe-string fries at all. Weird!
whoops! I see now, you’re in San Jose. The armpit of California, but still, the shopping will make up for it!! Lotsa shopping, but San jose itself pretty much sucks. Still, I hope you have a great time and visit all the outlets in the area. *soooooo jealous*

In N’ Out has a huge variety of “special” menu items. You mentioned how they only had a very small amount of items on the menu- that’s usually for people who don’t go often and stuff. Animal style is when they cook the onions, cheese, and I forgot what else together so that it all melts more with your burger- I hope that made sense. My new found favorite is the fries animal style, well done. Usually, their fries aren’t fully cooked to a crispy texture. Well, when you order it animal style well done, they make the fries crispy and they melt the cheese and their sauce on top of it. It’s soo good but I always feel so guilty for eating it!! You can order the Flying Dutchman, I think it’s called- where they just give you the beef patty and cheese in parchment paper. They have a lot of really crazy orders.

If it gets really bad, take a shower and stay in the bathroom after that with the door closed so that it has a humidifier effect and breathe in the humid air. That might work in a hotel room. But it could also be due to stress and also pressure differences from your flight etc.

Ive been up since 7am and workin in the sch lab for hours already.. lookin at your burger and fries pic is making me SALIVATE!!! *drools. doesnt help that there’e pple eating chicken rice in front of me (erm, dont they know it stinks the air-conditioned lab?)… !

what a cheeky T! I got told to try In and Out’s burger – was recommended Animal Style with extra sauce. Not bad – esp at that price 🙂

In N’ Out has a huge variety of “special” menu items. You mentioned how they only had a very small amount of items on the menu- that’s usually for people who don’t go often and stuff. Animal style is when they cook the onions, cheese, and I forgot what else together so that it all melts more with your burger- I hope that made sense. My new found favorite is the fries animal style, well done. Usually, their fries aren’t fully cooked to a crispy texture. Well, when you order it animal style well done, they make the fries crispy and they melt the cheese and their sauce on top of it. It’s soo good but I always feel so guilty for eating it!! You can order the Flying Dutchman, I think it’s called- where they just give you the beef patty and cheese in parchment paper. They have a lot of really crazy orders.

I don’t know exactly! but I think that’s what I had. I went up to the counter and asked for Animal Style – and they didn’t bat an eye.
Ahhhh, I really like that every store you went to and talked about, I know and have been too also!! It makes me feel included, lol. You went to In N’ Out too- verrrry good lunch choice 😉 It’s really ridiculous, but the Gilroy location is always busy on the weekends. Oh, Beverly, the next time you go to Hot Dog on a Stick, don’t forget to get their lemonade, it’s really refreshing!
And I never noticed, but we have a lot of odd movie snacks (cookie dough bites) 😛
That stinks about your nosebleed :/ Whenever I go somewhere outside of the Bay Area and the air is dry and hot, I get nosebleeds too.
I DID get their lemonade!!! It was sooooo good, plus no lemon bits in there, hate it when they don’t make it properly. Next, I want a Cinnabon :)~

The cookie dough bites are REALLY REALLY sugary, b ut nice! Think I’d prefer the Brownie bits in the cookie dough than the Choc chip (which I got) though..

*wink* ur colleague is cute. LOL. The other time i read Glamour Magazine and they recommend Bag Balm. It works like wonder maybe you will like to get those too. My cousin bought a few for me and i used it to soften my nail cuticles and cracked heels.

What are you recommending Bag Balm for? I don’t really have cuticle/heel probs.. but then again, I use lots of hand cream and foot cream 😛
You have such stamina for shopping! 3 malls in one day!!! Regarding your nosebleed, it could be due to the stress but it could also be due to the dry air there. Remember you are in desert land. If it gets really bad, take a shower and stay in the bathroom after that with the door closed so that it has a humidifier effect and breathe in the humid air. That might work in a hotel room. But it could also be due to stress and also pressure differences from your flight etc.

My mum said the same about dry air – think ti could be too. I wasn’t affected last time I was here tho! But I’m opening the windows tonight.. the airconditioning dries my throat out :X
