I finally got down to reading all your updates on San Jose. Thanks for sharing all the wonderful pictures. I am drooling over your shopping pictures. GREAT HAUL!!! :)~~~~~~

BTW how much can a mini pochette hold?

The shopping was so fun, hehe.

The mini pochette holds my digicam,and also cosmetics. It’s really roomy since it’s not a ‘flat’ pouch, but has a bottom part. Totally recommend it 🙂

Sounds like the mini pochette is a good size but it’s sooo teeny a size. Looks like the size of the pouch I have that comes in the bucket bag. You have the pochette too don’t you?

I saw the pochette from cerise range yesterday. I was thinking to get that to use as a proper bag too but not sure I would get lots of mileage out of it since I already have a Gucci mini bowling bag which I use a lot when I don’t lug lots of stuff. I like the gold chain of the mini pochette too. Hmmm I shall think about it for a few days.

The pampering looks – Mmmmm! Even if the haircut wasnt cosmic – it’s always nice not to have to do it yourself – the wash and blow dry and stuff… And the mani-pedi I bet was great…toes look fab!

Not often enough… San Jose is about one hour (maybe less, all depends on traffic) from Monterey (where I’ve been a good portion of my life) and its the BEST mall within a decent proximity, so its where I always went with my mom for Christmas shopping, and with my best friend Jenn for just about every formal and prom event. 🙂

Your day sounds so much fun! Great shopping loot and your hair looks cute. I went to my first Sephora store last year in Las Vegas (no Sephora in Vancouver), and I was overwhelmed too! It’s crazy to see stuff in person when I usually just order from Sephora online. 🙂

there is another restaurant “shiok” in the bay area, i like their singapore food better than straits. straits is not bad, a bit over priced imo. i like coach bags, already bought 2 since May, better stop for a while! 😉

I love the purple/pink heels you bought, they’re amazing.
Getting pedicures and manicures feels so good, hand massages are the best 😉

I wore ’em today and they’re soooo comfy – they’re heels yet don’t hurt my feet at all! I want to get the other colors now 😛

Since I was in front of Sephora, I walked and in and was totally overwhelmed. I didn’t even know where to look or where to start first.

I think that’s how my wife would be if she ever stepped into a Sephora.

I love the entire post. Your blog is my favorite blog to read. All the stores, Nordstrom, Sephora, Coach and Louis Vuitton look so elegant. I wished I had taken pictures like that when I went to Vancouver. I love your Louis Vuitton handbags. I thought you sold your other red purse (Coach?) because you didn’t need 2 red purses? The Nike Shox with the pink detailing suits your personality. I like your haircut. I love how you spent your day at the spa, shopping and eating. Its my idea of a perfect day.

I did sell my COACH as I already have an LV pochette, but I sold that too so I could buy this one – it’s bigger than the regular pochette and so much nicer IMHO with the clasp in the front! So just 1 red bag now and that’s it 😛

I think you did very well, although you probably didn’t give Nordstroms cosmetics counters a fair enough shake or you would have caved on something. 🙂 FYI, if you get a chance to head back to Nordstrom, the cosmetics counters there will bend over backwards to make you hand decanted samples of anything you admire from fragrances to foundations. It is the easiest department store in the USA to score samples from, and if you spend enough at different lines with different SAs for each line you can come home with a shopping bag or more in free stuff.

I think you did great on the shoes and the purses! You might need to head back to the mall for a gift for Chris and your mom though, no? 🙂
