you know Chatswood Chase? the old centre? there’s a vietnamese restaurant just right off the food court that i used to go to. they used to make THE best ‘pork chop, egg and fried rice’ in there but dont know why, they’re not as good anymore. π
Aww maybe they changed cooks π
I liked that bbq chinese place at the intersection, but now they’ve closed! dunno if they’re renovating or moved out..
very cool. π might check this out too.

This place’s crispy chicken is THE BEST!!! seriously, i’ve tried it everywhere but keep going back to Pre-Pho :)~
The vietnamese food looks so good ! oh it’s been long since I last ate that ! π
Same here! since I moved in Jan I haven’t really had Vietnamese food π
I love tomato rice and the rest of Vietnamese food does look like good comfort food.
Vietnamese food is up there as one of my faves, next to Japanese. Nothing beats hot noodles on a cold winter night though!
I love the Jap Genji Pies! π
It’s the first time I’ve had them I think.. I normally have those French Lattice Pies, which are really similar but a bit more crumbly/softer. Yummy too!
i LOVE soft flour cakes.
HUNGRY OVER HERE!!!
Hee.. I’ll think of you when I’m ENJOYING them! *grin*
I love soft flour cake! Ahhhhhh……….
For some reason I always see your food posts when I’m hungry! BAD BAD!
There was a vietnamese place in Richmond (in melb) that my family and I were in love with. We used to go every saturday π It was great! I love how they give out such a MASSIVE bowl of noodles!
Haha yeah, those huge bowls of Vietnamese noodles are great.. it’s so perfect for winter!
Haha. I’ve never seen Japanese Genji Pie before. What does it taste like?
Buttery and sweet and crumbly.. and really really nice π
Ooh haha. Maybe I’ll get to try it …
sometime in the future. π

i haven’t eaten there yet but family tells me it’s good, even better than the one down the road (i forget the name), beside the new yum cha place (golden jade)
