Ive tried bracewell jeans and they werent good on me either 🙁 I also have the worst body for sass & bide. I have the jean lovers worst nightmare of a body lol. Thank god for bettina liano!

That is a nice pair of jeans! I used to wear jeans a lot, but now I’m more of a slacks/dress pants kind of girl. I don’t even own a pair of regular, blue colored jeans. lol I’m on the hunt for the perfect pair, though. 🙂
i try not to wear pants unless I’m in meetings all day or if I’m meeting partners.. jeans are more comfy when I’m sitting down all day 😛

Live8 was a concert held in 10 countries today. Pink Floyd reunited to play there, McCartney played Sgt. Peppers with U2, and all sorts of rock royalty from Madonna to Sting to Stevie Wonder to Coldplay played there. The largest lineup was in England, but the largest crowd was at the USA show. It was a free concert with a lottery for tickets. The Japan one was tiny with only 10,000 people in a hall that sat 20,000. Bill Gates was given a rockstar welcome when he spoke, and AOL carried it live, uncensored, for free to anyone without an AOL account which was impressive. Once upon a time this many people watching a webcast would have crashed the Net for sure. Amazed you did not hear about it, but guess that says its impact was minimal compared to what they had hoped.
I think my other Dior foundation was $42 so $60 isn’t bad with inflation and for a larger size bottle. Enjoy it! 🙂

as far as the foundation, I’m curious like everyone else, it just sprays on!? I am a MAC loyalist but the other day I was in a rush and left my makeup at home *eek* so I stopped at a drugstore and purchased Max Factor “Color Adapt” and I must say it is the best foundation I’ve ever used…and it’s inexpensive too!
They don’t look too OTT with the big “B” you think? I’ve never worn jeans that have a flashy butt before :X

no not over the top at all! They are totally “normal” jeans but then in the back they turn fancy and fashion-forward. Pair them with heels and you could even wear them to work without being considered too casual.

When I got there, the sales assistant told me that she just went for training for the fall colours and she loves the new colours and will preview them in a few weeks’ time.
Forgot to add that I wanted to go try on that Dior Foundation spray that you featured in your blog and was told that there was no Dior make up counter in the entire mall! Apparently, the only counter closed down a few months back! I can’t believe that I’m living in ulu-land! Checked online and the nearest dior place is Sephora at a mall 45 mins away from me. Too far. Probably just check it out at duty free on my way home at the end of the month. Too bad.

That airflash sounds interesting. Only problem it’s a spray. Isn’t it messy? You spray direct & blend with fingers?
I put on a haircap and just spray on the face, it’s not really messy, esp when you get the hang of it. OR, you can spray 6″ away onto your hand and ‘pat’ it onto your face 🙂
Just pat? That sounds easy. But coz it’s spray, you tend to finish it fast on top of spraying it everyway? Do review a week or two later to gauge how fast you would finish it. 🙂
Apparently it lasts about 2 months.. but impossible for me to tell after 1 week ‘cos the can’s opaque and metal so hard to tell by holding it in my hand! :X since it’s a spray tho, you use less than squeezing a cream/liquid foundation.

Hey Penny, Which Chanel you bought? I know there is this cream formula that turns matte on face but totally did not work for me. It gets so cakey before I could even blend in. I hated that!
The Double Perfection Cream to Powder one. It’s so difficult to blend and like you said, it becomes cakey even before I can blend in properly. Grrr!
Yup, I HATE that foundation. Soooo cakey and feels really heavy on the skin. Such a waste of $$$!

Ya, just 2 spritzes while you move it in front of your face and that’s it! If you do it lightly you don’t need to blend, but I still do esp at the edges.. Try it out at the store, it’s fab!!

IMHO yes.. the SA kept insisting that I should get 1 shade lighter so I would be fairer. And she said since I’m yellow-toned, I should use a pink-toned foundation to “even it out”. YEAH RIGHT, I couldn’t believe she said something so dumb 🙁

Live8? I haven’t seen it 🙁 what’s it about?
Live8 was a concert held in 10 countries today. Pink Floyd reunited to play there, McCartney played Sgt. Peppers with U2, and all sorts of rock royalty from Madonna to Sting to Stevie Wonder to Coldplay played there. The largest lineup was in England, but the largest crowd was at the USA show. It was a free concert with a lottery for tickets. The Japan one was tiny with only 10,000 people in a hall that sat 20,000. Bill Gates was given a rockstar welcome when he spoke, and AOL carried it live, uncensored, for free to anyone without an AOL account which was impressive. Once upon a time this many people watching a webcast would have crashed the Net for sure. Amazed you did not hear about it, but guess that says its impact was minimal compared to what they had hoped.
I think my other Dior foundation was $42 so $60 isn’t bad with inflation and for a larger size bottle. Enjoy it! 🙂

I often end up BUYING samples. perfume ones anyway, which is pretty annoying cos I’m sure the store gets them free, but it’s cheaper than buying a whole bottle when I’m just trying out anyway.
Yeah I ‘ve given up on trying to find jeans that fit me AND are cheap.. too many variables just end up with nothing for me, lol. But these were reasonable after the discount, so yay!
That is a nice pair of jeans! I used to wear jeans a lot, but now I’m more of a slacks/dress pants kind of girl. I don’t even own a pair of regular, blue colored jeans. lol I’m on the hunt for the perfect pair, though. 🙂
i try not to wear pants unless I’m in meetings all day or if I’m meeting partners.. jeans are more comfy when I’m sitting down all day 😛

as far as the foundation, I’m curious like everyone else, it just sprays on!? I am a MAC loyalist but the other day I was in a rush and left my makeup at home *eek* so I stopped at a drugstore and purchased Max Factor “Color Adapt” and I must say it is the best foundation I’ve ever used…and it’s inexpensive too!
They don’t look too OTT with the big “B” you think? I’ve never worn jeans that have a flashy butt before :X

no not over the top at all! They are totally “normal” jeans but then in the back they turn fancy and fashion-forward. Pair them with heels and you could even wear them to work without being considered too casual.
*grin* yeah think I’ll do that! I wear jeans nearly every day, so I’m really happy I got a light colored pair 🙂
Need to go try that foundation out at the mall soon. Perhaps this weekend! But then I’ll definitely have to stop by the stila counter and look at that new stuff as well.

When I got there, the sales assistant told me that she just went for training for the fall colours and she loves the new colours and will preview them in a few weeks’ time.
Forgot to add that I wanted to go try on that Dior Foundation spray that you featured in your blog and was told that there was no Dior make up counter in the entire mall! Apparently, the only counter closed down a few months back! I can’t believe that I’m living in ulu-land! Checked online and the nearest dior place is Sephora at a mall 45 mins away from me. Too far. Probably just check it out at duty free on my way home at the end of the month. Too bad.
oh no! I thought Dior was really widespread 🙁 Do check it out @ duty free if you can.. only 3 weeks more anyway 😛 I’ll post a follow-up review in a few days as well..

Lovely pair of jeans 🙂 I find it really hard to find a pair that suits one well. So it’s nice you found one “that was made just for you”. My fave pair has a hole in it now, I definetely have to find a replacement !

That airflash sounds interesting. Only problem it’s a spray. Isn’t it messy? You spray direct & blend with fingers?
I put on a haircap and just spray on the face, it’s not really messy, esp when you get the hang of it. OR, you can spray 6″ away onto your hand and ‘pat’ it onto your face 🙂
Just pat? That sounds easy. But coz it’s spray, you tend to finish it fast on top of spraying it everyway? Do review a week or two later to gauge how fast you would finish it. 🙂
Apparently it lasts about 2 months.. but impossible for me to tell after 1 week ‘cos the can’s opaque and metal so hard to tell by holding it in my hand! :X since it’s a spray tho, you use less than squeezing a cream/liquid foundation.
That foundation looks so interesting! Do you just spray in onto your face? Do you need to blend? If it’s good, I want to get it too because the Chanel one I just bought sucks 🙁
Hey Penny, Which Chanel you bought? I know there is this cream formula that turns matte on face but totally did not work for me. It gets so cakey before I could even blend in. I hated that!
The Double Perfection Cream to Powder one. It’s so difficult to blend and like you said, it becomes cakey even before I can blend in properly. Grrr!
Yup, I HATE that foundation. Soooo cakey and feels really heavy on the skin. Such a waste of $$$!

Ya, just 2 spritzes while you move it in front of your face and that’s it! If you do it lightly you don’t need to blend, but I still do esp at the edges.. Try it out at the store, it’s fab!!

Does 300 match your skintone perfectly?
IMHO yes.. the SA kept insisting that I should get 1 shade lighter so I would be fairer. And she said since I’m yellow-toned, I should use a pink-toned foundation to “even it out”. YEAH RIGHT, I couldn’t believe she said something so dumb 🙁
