it’s clearer than my isight, though I’ve never really tried taking still pix with the isight. I’ve been meaning to add you to skype, just haven’t looked up your userid.

Oh my, the laksa looks so delicious and authentic! I remember eating laksa from an Indonesian restaurant while still in Sydney and it didn’t taste anything like the laksa we have here. By the way, if you happen to come to Sarawak, I’ll take you to eat our famous Sarawak Laksa 🙂

It wasn’t the same as the SG laksa I like, but I still like it nonetheless! The SG one is thick with stuff inside the soup.. erm, not sure what it is 😛 I’ve never had Sarawak laksa..ooooo what’s it like?
Sarawak Laksa is spicy and tangy because it uses asam (a kind of tangy fruit) as one of the ingredients. It’s also very rich and flavourful…really yummy! 🙂
The thick stuff may be coconut?
Is Sarawak laksa the same as assam laksa? I love assam laksa, more so than the usual coconut milk one.
Not really although Sarawak Laksa is slightly sourish. It uses coconut milk as well. All this talk about laksa is making me crave for Laksa big time!
Mmmmmmmmm it sounds good!! The yummy flavour/texture of coconut milk.. but also tangyness so it doesn’t feel too sinful 😛
Ah ok, gotta try out Sarawak laksa one day if I ever head to East Malaysia. Come to think of it, assam laksa is nonya I think? I’ve got a huge craving for it now, I doubt I can find a restaurant that serves it here though. 🙁
