i envy you.. parents getting u a car and even paying for your apartment…they had to pay for your studies overseas too.
it’s either you’re really rich girl or you’re just plain lucky!
but your parents give so much to you, i wonder how you might not be able to survive on your own. as all the while your parents have been giving you the money and everything.
imagine…one day…your parents can no longer support you…can you finance a car and a house and your stay overseas?
just wondering cos your life really is a dream so many pple want. but…imagine the risk..

Hehe I wish. I paid for the car, and I’ll be paying about 80% of the apartment. They want to pay the rest because they’ll be coming up every couple of months and staying for a month or so, so they felt it was fair since they’ll be there so much. But all in all, I’m still really lucky because they did support me all through Uni and even now, if I ask. Not many parents do that so I feel really fortunate that they care so much.
I’m 100% financially independant at the moment which is a really nice feeling BUT it’s also really hard, so it makes me appreciate them even more!

really??
where u get so much money for the car?
maybe i need finance advice from u! keke.

Bev, you are so funny!! I was scrolling down my friends page, and I just saw my name in capital letters.

YAY, I am so glad that you both got my postcards. Chris emailed me all his info the other day. I am trying to collect addresses, etc etc for the new organizer that I got.. part of my new years resolution to re-acquaint myself with old friends.

He sent me a couple of addresses, including his work one. I decided to send his postcard there, cos I love getting things at the workplace. I figured if I mailed you at the same address, it would eventually get to you, too. 🙂 I initially just wrote, “tell Bev I said hi!” on his postcard, but then when I realized I could send you your OWN card, I was stoked.

I dunno, I just love getting snail mail.. it wasn’t much (just a postcard), but I am glad that you liked it.

On another note.. I know EXACTLY what you are going through with the moving/roommate/stress situation. It happens to all of us, and yes I fully agree with you. EVERYONE is fighting right now. It’s something in the air for sure. xxoo

Yeah, go fix your email 😉

It’s a good idea to keep an address/phone book of everyone you know.. I really got to do that sometimes! We’re so international that it’s easy to lose track and lose touch with friends 🙁 I like snail mail too, because it’s so easy to send an email now that it takes some effort to send snail mail. When is your bday btw?

Looks like bad sentiment is raging through the air across the ocean too 😉 Kind of sucks, but at least in just 2 weeks everything will be over and pretty much everyone I know should’ve calmed down and stopped fighting with each other!
