wow- that’s great to hear of all the things you’re thankful for, and so few things that you hate! ro
(I’m chibimoon3 on MUA- using your swap tools today- thanks!)I really like your outlook on life and agree with many of your views. I also have the old love/hate body views and trouble shopping for small sizes…although I always hear things like “well, at least you’re not shopping for plus sizes, you skinny b_ _ _ _!” (just kidding, but you know how that goes!) your journal is a lot of fun- I’m looking forward to keeping up with it! take care- Katy
Re: wow- that’s great to hear of all the things you’re thankful for, and so few things that you hate
HEh.. shopping for smaller sizes is just as bad as shopping for plus sizes, don’t really see the difference! Stores just need to cater for ALL sizes and stop putting our size up on the display stands π
Btw just posted about the Stila legally blonde palettes :O
– my naivety. <-
this sounds like me bev π but never stop loving and giving to people. of cos use your gift of “Giving” wisely π nice but vigilent! haha..
sam.k
Easier said than done though! It’s hard to differentiate between who is genuine and who will later screw you over. And apparently people are BAD once you go out into the work force. Ack :T

oh thats horrible, i was on holiday too about 9 when i had to get my appendix out so yeah i kinda know how it feels… except mine didn’t rupture so I guess i was luckier… it nearly did though cos none of the hospitals would accept me, me not being a citizen of the country and all…
DId you get explained what was going to happen? ‘Cos I heard later all the kids at the hospital get a little ‘play’ with puppets and stuff to explain what an appendix is and what’s going to happen.. I missed out on that ‘cos I had to be operated on straight away – no time for fun and games :T
Can’t believe hospitals wouldn’t accept you, how unethical is that?! I don’t recall having probs being admitted.. guess they figured it was too serious to turn me away or something :T
no I didn’t get that either, mine was about to burst so i had to be operated straight away but no worries cos i’m scared of puppets and yeah… i do remember having a conversation with the surgeon telling him he couldn’t open me up until i was asleep and i wasn’t going to go to sleep except the drugs started kicking in so i told him i was only sleeping cos i was tired… hmmmm… yup…
Hehe well it’s a good thing then, or you’d be scared and the appendix would burst or something *lol* You sound like a cute kid though π I was just a grumpy one ‘cos I realised I got jipped when the gas didn’t smell like chocolate at all π
Shopping used to be a chore for me – it’s a tedious task (!!) to find sth that’ll fit me just fine! Then I found MNG. I know it’s getting more and more commercialised but I just love the fact that most of the time, I’d be able to find something I really like AND it fits me just alright (in terms of size). Sometimes I need S, sometimes even XS and not many stores around carry XS size. Plus, sometimes their version of S in UK can actually be our M or L back home. Weird.
Ohh I have a MNG jacket and pants and really like it.. but yeah, all the issues with sizes are so weird. Also, lots of designer brands like marking a M as a S, and a L as an M.. so the woman thinks she’s “suddenly” gotten magically slimmer and is so happy she buys the clothes! My friend learnt that in marketing. Unbelievable..
That operation sounds awful! I can see how it would bring back bad memories, but hey, I always have kinda liked scars, because they add character. π
Yeah.. that’s why hearing about yours scared me, but I’m glad yours went well π Heh, and I’d rather have no character then π
