Omg Bev, those letters are so cute!
I’ve never written any letters for my parents tho! LOL but I remember writing a postcard when I was 9. I was in Sydney and they were in Singapore. I missed my mum so much!

it is very sweet to write those letters.
prove u really love them alot.
but i somehow felt u were kinda lonely. haiz..
anyway, u’re all grown up and u are a great gal!
π
maybe u can write letter to them now and if they keep it, u can show it to ur kids next time.
Re: sweet
Yeah I’m really close to my parents π I was lonely as a kid ‘cos both of them worked and I was at home with maids ’till late every day. But then I got a ruptured appendix at 10 and then mum quit her job to spend time with me.. so at least most of my memories are happy ones at home with her π
CUTE!
How do you play hamburger!!?
lol
those are SO cute!
hm, i wrote those letters to, but they were to God. I think my parents were unhappy since they didn’t grow up around Christianity (or, just my mom didn’t..) and I began to say God was first and parents came second. This whole idea that God tells me to obey my parents, not parents tell me to obey God, so therefore God is first. No WONDER i stopped going to that Christian private school..LOL. π
Re: lol
*lol*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can see why as non-religious parents you’d just flip if your child was saying God first. Hehehe.

How fun. I love the first letter. It’s so cute. With the hearts filled in with red. π
I wish I had some of my writing from when I was younger.
CUTE!
How do you play hamburger!!?
Childhood is priceless
Reminds me of a letter I wrote to my grandmother when I was about 7. I kept talking about her “gupies” and asked how they were and even enclosed some cash to buy fish food for them. Hee hee hee! Nevermind the family; how are the fish?
Re: Childhood is priceless
hahhahahah!! I love how you put in cash to buy fish food, heheheh! You were a cute kid π
maybe it’s “Burger Time” game? that’s an old skool game when Intellivision (way before the NES era) hehehehe π
er typo, I meant from Intellivision.
It definitely wasn’t a video-type game, wasnt’ into them as a kid at all π Probably some sort of Patty cake type of game? Trust me to have a game named after a food *lol*
So cute! I never wrote any letters to my parents before. I don’t even tell them I love them. There is this nice tingling feeling when I saw your letters. I look forward to the day when my future children would do the same for me.
Glass
Aww.. you should, I’m sure they’d love to hear it from you! π
omg.. the letters gave me a sweet feeling inside! π
hmm.. too bad i don’t have any.. =(
You could write some now? π
SO CUTE! it reminds me of the letters my sister used to write to me .. for some reason little kids like to ask about the weather.
*lol* I never thought about that! You’re right tho.. I guess kids don’t have much of a view of the world and it just revolves around parents and, er, the weather?
lol

Aww..that’s so sweet of your dad to keep all the letters you wrote when you were so little! I envy your close relationship with your parents. You’re one lucky girl π
Yeah, I never knew my parents kept all those letters.. there must’ve been hundreds of them! I guess the good thing about being an only child is that you end up being super duper close to your parents π
