there’s always some catch to these. i was walking along orchard road once with my buddy and some guy came up to us asking us to do a survey and than a lucky dip. and we just happened to get the top prize of 7 nights stay in any of the hotels mentioned (some even in exotic places like fiji). the guy said we had to go back with him to the office to fill up some details. i was naturally excited but my friend glenn rejected the ‘prize’ and later told me that as good as it sounds, there’s some catch to it definitely. its just some kind of marketing ploy and it the end you’ll end up having to pay quite a bit. not worth it.
happened again to me when i was in bali with paul. we just happened to get the top prize of some free hotel stay again. remembering my last incident, i declined the offer.
so yeah, i think this is definitely some marketing ploy. else how can i be so lucky as to get the so called top prize twice? i haven never been the lucky sort of person who wins during lucky draws and such. no harm calling to ask about it but the offer really does sound too good to be true.
