internships are great if they’re relevant to what you want to do in the future, even if they pay peanuts; you get job experience that will put you ahead of other candidates in the future; i know, that’s how i got my job now π
Are you looking for a job or an internship? Do you have a copy of your resume? I might be able to help you. I have a friend who’s hiring. I don’t think he can give you a part time job but he might beable to take you on as an intern and it’s programming type stuff… π
Oooer
Cool! I’ll email you now π

Bev, enjoy your time here. Don’t work coz in Singapore, work is generally very demanding. You know, I think that when Chris comes, you want to be able to spend every minute with him here. You’re job wouldn’t let you do that. I believe that in Singapore. They pay ‘child labour’ wages. π
Anyways, yeah, you can always try, but working in big companies would require that you work a full day and even Saturdays. Try to find something on a part-time basis.

job
it took me 3 months to find a job here in usa and they only pay me 5.65 an hour and on sunday they pay 6.12 an hour and i only work 8 hours a week so it brings in little cash.
what type of jobs are you looking into?
Re: job
That is NOT what I want to hear! π I hope I get a quick response.. at least tell me if I’m rejected, so I don’t keep hanging in there for a response.
I’m mainly looking for computing and IT jobs, but if those aren’t available then I’ll probably settle for anything that’s relatively decent!
