FOOD, Food reviews, Uncategorized BROOKLYN HOTEL 16 December 2007

My team’s Christmas lunch was at the Brooklyn Hotel that serves up some very tasty Thai food. We ordered a TON of dishes for just 8-9 people, and another load of drinks on top of that. Every other team was also out for a long Christmas lunch so there was no real need to get back to the office, hence why everyone was kicking back and relaxing πŸ˜› However, I could only stay 1.5 hours and then had to rush off to the airport, to catch my flight to Singapore!

Anyway, pics below:

Fish Cakes – a bit dense and unexciting

Curry Puffs – very lovely, but not spicy!

Spring Rolls – just average

Chicken Satay – this was so nice and meaty!

Salt & Pepper Calamari – awesome

Chilli Scampie – one of my fave dishes!!

Banana Blossom Salad – a bit too weird for me

Otah Fish – so spicy I nearly fell off my seat πŸ˜‰

Sizzling Beef – Pretty good

Curry Fish – really nice and tender

Noodles – similar to Char Kway Teow. nice!

Green Chicken Curry – not authentic at all, haha

Pad Thai – one of the best dishes of the day
