Happy CNY to you too!

I think my food posts will be less.. at least I hope they will be, since I’m eating healthy-ish now 🙂

Hi…I was browsing and found your journal.
I like your photos a lot =)
Hope you don’t mind if I add you.
Happy chinese new year, anyway !

Heh it really is martabak.. it originated in indonesia and has chocolate, cheese, condensed milk and butter and peanuts in it.
Then SG decided to put out their own version but it has either chocolate OR cheese OR whatever.. not everything combined, then called it ming jiang kueh! I much prefer the martabak though – it tastes better ‘cos so much stuff inside 😉

Yeah Vanessa’s all grown up!

I know 🙁 CNY and Xmas are *just* a little bit too far apart to warrant staying there.. I wish it was just a few weeks closer!

LOL, once I lose this weight (hopefully by August) I plan to visit LV on our anniversary weekend (same as last year) and purchase the Damier Speedy 25 (if it has arrived in Australia by then). Yay!!
Hey can you tell me if you think this is dodgy or real?

Ebay auction!

The auction has closed, however I have been e-mailing her back and forward and am considering meeting with her on Sunday to view the bag. Anything I should look out for? (I would take my Popincourt to compare the inside tags).

Ooo the damier speedy would be divine!! I’m on a bag drought at the moment, feel guilty spending so much :X

As for the auction, I can’t say at all since she pretty much has no photos of the bag, except a far away one where you can’t see anything!

Since she claims she bought it at a Melb store, just look at the receipt for her full name (or ask her for it), then call the LV store and ask them to verify – they’ll have her name and the bag on file if she did buy it from them 🙂 Easiest way to authenticate it!

You are a legend!!! I will do that 🙂
I’m waiting for you to sell one of your bags 🙂 I trust you so would definintely give you my money 🙂 I just don’t trust most people!

Hah that would be good, I think?!

I like spam pan-fried, served with rice and tomato sauce. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM…………….

I went to Chinatown here in Melb on eve as well and it was really packed. I think we had almost the same stuff including the bwakwa which was 3 dollars a piece *faints. Ah, but it’s only once a year anyway. Pretty fun but nothing beat celebrating CNY back home aye?

Ahhh the one we had here was $5 per piece!!!! It was so expensive, grrr.. but of course, we couldn’t resist and bought 3 pieces anyhow 😛

And ya, wish I was in SG celebrating, but this was ok 🙂

heh..your yusheng platter looks more like a sashimi salad..Yumz!

Happy Lunar New Year!
