I love that kind of bag and always used to get them! I’m trying to go smaller now cause I can’t stop FILLING THEM!!! LOL – I load them and load them and load them till they weigh 200 pounds….sigh. I have no control over the amount of stuff I carry, isnt that awful????

That’s a really nice bag!
Btw, I realised that you used to work for MSN Aust. I used to work in Microsoft, MSN too πŸ™‚ Was with the SEA team

Thanks! But going to sell some of my other Louis Vuitton stuff… gotta off-set the cost of this bag and the horrid customs!

this is the sorta bag i would love to carry, simple yet classic AND like you… i get to dump loads of stuff in. god knows why i always seem to have so much to put in. its a good buy BUT screw the customs man! tsk.

Same here! I like how it’s so simple, a 20yr old can carry it, or a 50yr old. It’s not trendy at all.
Wish I bought it in the Singapore Hermes boutique though.. sigh..

I like it since it doesn’t scream “brand name bag alert” πŸ˜› It’s subtle and feels sooo good! I figured it’s a worthwhile investment πŸ˜›

I really appreciate your bag. It’s so fancy.
Too bad about the customs though.. taxes, papers and headache.

It wasn’t just the money, more the way customs is so harsh and sleazy about it – trying to write it’s actually a MUCh higher % rate than what it actually is. It’ sjust unbelievable

That’s a gorgeous bag, Bev! But what happened with the customs sucks big time. I had a similar experience when a friend in Sg sent me some Burts Bees Baby Bee products (all small samples) and the customs claimed that I was importing them and made me write a letter to explain why they shouldn’t take any action against me (fine or imprisonment!) πŸ™

Oh gosh!!!!! That’s horrible, plus considering they were small samples too.. someone in customs obviously was having PMS. That is way out of line IMHO πŸ™

Exactly! In the end I just wrote to say those were gifts from a friend and they could confiscate them if they wanted to πŸ™

Thanks! It’s probably a lil boring looking, but I like it that way as it’s more classic and will last πŸ™‚ But the best is the feel/texture.. soooo soft!

It’s not sold in Sydney, as far as I know πŸ™ And customs tries to kill if you if you buy it internationally.. so the best would be to just buy the bag in a boutique overseas and bring it back in πŸ™‚

Wow, that is a gorgeous bag! I was considering the Chanel Cerf Tote but I think you may have changed my mind! Can you tell me how much it retails for?

I fully recommend it! It was my bag of choice after ages of looking, ‘cos it’s so so buttery soft, but still pretty sturdy and durable. And it holds a ton of stuff, since the interior is so roomy.. yet it doesn’t look silly and massive on me. It’s perfect IMHO πŸ™‚
It’s around SG$3,400 or so.. but don’t buy it internationally or you’ll end up paying retail or more like I did, lol

hehe i love hearing you talk bout all these fancy schmancy sounding events that tickle my inner IT geek πŸ˜‰

hopefully one day i’ll be mingling around those events – perhaps one day soon if i network my way right through my internship next semester! yay!

btw love the gloriously decadent purchases as of late πŸ˜‰

I love all the internet marketing conferences and events.. they’re a lot of fun and incredibly interesting πŸ™‚ Well, if you go to them soon, at least I’ll see you around! It’s such a small world

That’s a really nice bag. I bet the leather is all soft. I too prefer this bag to the birkin. Now I need to go look at it when I’m home in Singapore next month!

Yeah, the leather is super soft and buttery.. and smells so nice too :)~ Is it weird to keep stroking a bag ‘cos it feels so good? haha!

It’s SO much cheaper in SG.. def check it out!

No more bag-buying for me now though.. better focus on productive stuff like selling instead, haha.

Hint to Merv, hehe! It is SO much cheaper in SG.. seriously, a few hundred dollars cheaper.

Omg, I’d the worst tummy ache yesterday too, cos’ I over-ate like mad. It simply hurt everytime I walked! Grr.

Anyway, cuuute bag! Too bad ‘bt the customs. It’s really pretty tho’~! :DDD

Ohhh same here, I’m lying on the couch now and my tummy’s got these sharp pains going through it πŸ™ No more overeating for me πŸ™

Gorgeous bag although not really my style (prefer the Birkin hehe). I saw this one selling on eBay awhile ago, the seller included the twilly as a gift, right?

I think the one your’e referring to on eBay is still listed.. the twilly isn’t a gift though, it comes as part of the bag in the boutiques!

The Birkin and Kelly seem to be so popular, but they’re a bit too structured for me.. I like the butter soft floppy leather πŸ™‚

The inside lining matching the twilly just did it for me πŸ˜› And I was after a plain leather bag, so this was perfect!
