Makeup on ebay

Hi Beverly!

What kind of things can you buy on ebay in terms of Makeup stuffs? Do you know of any good sellers for makeup on ebay b/c I’d like to save money but try out some more things. Makeup can be weird b/c of germs and stuff. Is there anyone reliable/ good deals you know of I can look into?
Thanks,
Savannah

Re: Makeup on ebay

YOu can buy pretty much EVERYTHING – and get new stuff of course! It works out cheaper than getting it from the stores, which is excellent πŸ™‚ I don’t really go for a specific seller, but I always buy from one that has lots of feedback and no negatives.

I didn’t get the frame either.. I think it’s kind of tacky to have your degree hung on the wall, unless you need it to prove your qualifications such as in the medical field.. It is a total waste of money. The only thing I’d get are the photos which would last a whole lot longer..
Flowers? are they compulsory? are you supposed to buy them yourself? I’ve never heard of this.. usually your friends and family give them to you as gifts.
Don’t forget to take your own photos too while you still have your outfit on as you only have that for a certain amount of time..

Good luck and have fun!

Yeah, I’m going to get it plaqued or something like that. Not really sure what to do with it, to be honest. But I’ll definitely get pics and those cost about 50 bucks.. The grad gowns are drab and boring though, so not looking forward to getting my photos taken.

I always see people carry around flowers, so I don’t know the protocol? But you’re right, I do think someone buys them for you as a gift.. but yeah, I’m going to have my digicam and take lots of pics too – maybe they’ll turn out really well then I won’t have to buy those darn professional $50 pics!

Don’t bother framing the certificate – it’s a complete rip-off and they charge 3x what frames cost outside. I’ve seen them ruin more certificates than frame properly, spraying detergent on the glass to get rid of prints, NOT waiting for it to dry and plunking the certificate right on top.

I can give you my frame if you want. Took it out as soon as I realized there’s no freakin’ way I was going to be able to cart the glass home without breaking.

Danae.

PS – let me know if you get the pigments tomorrow.

Mine’s going to be plaque-form, which is different I think? Not too sure.. it’s going to be kind of embarassing going up on stage though – cos everyone does the same thing and it’s kind of boring as well :T

The first couple of months of full-time work is definitely the hardest financially, because of the work clothing budget. Once you’re past that, you’ll find it a lot easier to juggle “fun” clothes purchases and “work” clothes purchases. And enjoy Nando’s…you might regret being broke later, but at least you enjoyed it to the fullest today πŸ˜€

That’s really good to hear.. it should be a lot better next month ‘cos I don’t really need stuff or have to pay big bills, etc..
