I’m lucky in that my adviser for my Anthropology degree did his fieldwork in Mexico and Chile, so he has introduced us to real Mesoamerican food. It tastes much better than the mass-produced tacos and burritos from the chain stores! I think I want to go get ribs now from looking at this post again mmmmmm!

I guess it’s hard to say exactly what American food is, because it’s so varied! Kind of like many people thinking Mexican food is tacos.. when actually it’s not really a homestyle traditional food in Mexico 😉
