He’s getting better and better at it since, which is REALLY good to see – not just from a proud mummy’s perspective (I know it’s not-so-polite to boast and post about your child’s capabilities, but I truly AM proud of him with his swimming!!), but mostly because I feel much more confident with him being near water.
Near-drownings are still (obviously) fresh on our minds, so it’s actually a big relief that we know that Hunter can survive for a period of time if he is somehow in the deep-end without help. We know he’ll be calm, and be able to paddle to the side.
And here he is… doing just that! 🙂
