I’ve talked to Hunter about dreams before, and I never really knew if he truly understood what I was talking about. It’s actually pretty hard to articulate what the concept of a dream is, and even more difficult to put it in very relatable words for a 3 year old!

But, a couple of days ago, he came up to me early one morning and said, in all his wide-eyed wonder, “Mummy, I saw PICTURES in my eyes!”

“As in, you had a dream?”, I asked.

“Yes”, he said, “I had my eyes closed. But I saw pictures inside my eyes!”

He was filled with wonderment and amazement. I asked what pictures he saw, and he said it was of aeroplanes.
