I followed this easy-peasy recipe here and, a couple of minutes later, voila!
They were warm and a bit crunchy on the outside, but fluffy on the inside. These are not to be confused with sweet biscuits by the way, they are Southern style savory biscuits. You know, the type that goes so well with drenched in gravy and served with deep fried chicken!!
I didn’t manage to get a photo of my kids eating the biscuits, but I do have a photo of Carter eating…. errrr….. rice. It’s his #1 favourite food (next to eggs, cooked any way)!! We were learning the Chinese word for rice here, hence the kids were each given a little dollop of rice to eat. Ooooh boy, was he pleased!
