HOLIDAYS, New York, Princeton HELLOOOOO USA 19 October 2012

We’re off to the USA now!

A humongous thanks to all the awesome recommendations you guys gave. They were so helpful, if not overwhelming because I’m not quite sure how I’ll be able to fit in all the shopping and attractions and eating 😉 Looks like I’ll be eating every 2 hours and still wouldn’t be able to go through my whole list!

I’m so excited. Nervous too, because it’s a little mad to travel with 2 babies and have to deal with their moods, jet lag, and being cooped up in a plane for 24 hours. Gulp.

But I’m looking forward to the next 2 weeks and enjoying ourselves.. See you all when we get back 🙂

My wishful thinking that both boys will knock out like this for the entire 24-hour long airplane journey 😉

Hi Beverly, did you stay in NY through the storm??? I hope you and the little ones are okay!!

Bev- try and get to Century 21 if you can – I think you’d like it! Don’t bring the kids though – it’s sooo crammed and would be a nightmare with a stroller. Would definitely recommend the C21 branch near Times Square, the one further uptown doesn’t have as much stock! Enjoy – was there in January and had an awesome time 🙂

Yeah I heard it’s awesome, but child unfriendly. But I’ll have to have Carter with me and my gfs will have their babies.. so eek! Would it be ok if I carry him in a baby carrier though?

Have a fun time! I don’t think you saw my recommendations, so here they are again in case you missed them the first time.. Nancy really loved Century 21 so you won’t want to miss that if you love shopping 🙂

The American Museum of Natural History is great for kids.. http://www.amnh.org/

There’s the FAO Schwartz flagship store in NYC .. the film “Big” with Tom Hanks was filmed here.. tons of fun for kids http://www.fao.com/shop/index.jsp?categoryId=3810526

Plus the Toys R Us flagship store in Times Square http://www.toysrusinc.com/about-us/times-square/

There’s also the Children’s Museum of Manhattan http://www.cmom.org/

The Sony Wonder Technology Lab (it’s free) http://wondertechlab.sony.com/vs-exhibits.html

And you can go to the top of the Empire State Building, shop along 5th Avenue….

go to Century 21 for incredible shopping deals http://www.c21stores.com/

OH thank you Erik!

I think FAO is a must for Hunter, and the Toys R Us looks pretty awesome 🙂

I heard Century 21 is madness so I will see if we can handle it.. as it’ll be 3 of us with 3 babies, eeek….
