HUNTER, CARTER & CHLOE, Parties, Playdates CELEBRATING MONDAYS 8 October 2012

Sometimes, it just gets so hot and humid in Singapore that there’s no better way to cool off than to jump in the pool. Hunter loves swimming and kicking around in the water, and so we were all looking forward to getting together and chilling out in the pool. It was a splendid way to spend a Monday afternoon!

Trying to get the kids to hold hands in a circle proved a LOT harder than anticipated…..

Hunter saw people swimming freestyle and is now constantly trying to do it himself!

“DID I DO IT RIGHT?!”

Boys fighting over goggles.. for some inexplicable reason.

Elliot looks like he’s trying to drown Hunter here πŸ˜‰

OH HAI!

Family of 3… but not for long πŸ˜‰

We had a BBQ afterwards and the food was AWESOME.Β Obviously. Can’t really expect much less when a proper chef is doing the cooking, with the best-sourced imported ingredients πŸ˜‰ And, cripes, there was TONS of food!! I got way too excited eating and…. errrr… forgot to take photos. But we had the most AMAZING beef tenderloin.. I’m salivating just thinking about it now! And there was pork cheek.. marinated grilled chicken, etc etc. BLISS.

Here below is Cookyn’s signature chilli con carne. I can never get enough of the stuff. It’s tasty, and oh so satisfying. All it needs is some sour cream, scoop it all up with some tortilla chips, and YUMMEH.

We also had homemade guacamole by Cookyn, and it was super. I couldn’t decide which one was better, so I kept switching between each topping, until my belly could take no more….

Carter snoozed through most of it

Hello my lil sausage roll

It’s Max! Just 1.5 weeks younger than Carter. And, his older brother Dylan is 2 weeks younger than Hunter. We are on the same fertility cycles or something.. weird..

Elliot and Hunter chill out with the iPad.

We got home at around 8:30PM, waaaay past the kids’ bedtime and the first time ever we’ve had them out so late at night (we are pretty anal about our kids’ schedules). Surprisingly, once we got home, both behaved like it was their usual 6PM bathtime/bedtime routine… and fell asleep without a fuss. Thank goodness!
