FASHION, Shopping FABULOUS FINDS @ MODCLOTH.COM 6 June 2012

I’m a huge fan of Modcloth.com’s designs, which have a vintage slant and are oh-so-feminine. They have a HUGE selection at their site, and add a whole bunch of new stuff every day.. so it’s become one of my most-visited sites – I actually visit it each morning to see the New Arrivals πŸ˜›

I was really comfortable ordering from them because of their full return policy, which was super prompt and impressed me. The staff were nice, and shopping was easy. Isn’t that what online shopping is meant to be?!

Modcloth are offering US$10 off your 1st purchase (they ship worldwide, and super-fast too!) with my referral link. YAY!!!

Here’s some of the stuff I picked up πŸ™‚

Good Enough to Eat Dress

Ummmmm hello NO WAY I could miss out on this dress! The print is a riot of hot dogs, burgers, fries, ice cream etc etc. All my fave foods and in such a nice, classic style. I find the fitted waist really flattering and the slightly flared skirt so girly.

Pretty in Pi?ata Dress

The material of this dress is insanely soft – almost like modal – and I love how it’s cut well for short girls like myself. It’s extremely comfortable and a great go-to dress to just pull on when you’re in a rush but still want to look pretty.

Age of Aquarium Dress

You’ll see this dress pop up in pictures of Chris’ sister’s wedding when we were in Australia. Obviously it looks better on the model above because she’s tall and thin and not pregnant πŸ˜‰ I love the floaty look, though, and how comfortable and easy it is to wear despite being ‘nice’ enough to wear for a function.

Pick a Flavor Top

Chris doesn’t like the colour combination of this top, but I specifically bought it because I did πŸ˜› The coral-and-turquoise combination is awesome! It’s so bright and cheery, and very comfortable to wear. And, did I mention I love the colours?

Smile While You Style Top

I was attracted by the colourful collar print and the flared waist of this top. What I was delighted with was how utterly soft it is. Being able to cinch the waist in is a good idea because it really gives you shape, and I can swap the belt for my own if I choose.

What You Wish For Dress

I like the high-low style of the skirt hem, and how the printed stars shimmer like gold stardust under the light. It’s soft and silky and so easy to pull on, and looks so nice dressed up and paired with gold strappy heels IMHO. It has an elastic waist but will look great with a belt over it too.

Play It School Shoulder Bag

ARGHHHHH Are you “awwww”-ing with cuteness yet? I did when I saw this photo, and I did again when the bag arrived. IT IS SO CUTE. Excellent as a diaper bag, or to throw in essentials for your toddler when you’re out. Loads of zippers and pockets, and is super light. And, obviously, the print absolutely rocks.

Remember toΒ get US$10 off your 1st purchase! With worldwide shipping and a full return policy, it’s no risk to pick up a few pieces that catch your eye πŸ™‚

Yes this site is getting very dangerous for me too, just got a few things…. :p And I think the full return policy seems to be for US consumers only too, just like the shipping, is that right?

The return policy def applies for international, but you gotta ship it back at your cost. Though, they said you can ship via Airmail back as long as you let them know!

Oh my, i’m a big fan of modcloth too. Do you order it directly from the website? How much is the shipping cost, rougly?

Yeah I order direct and the cost totally depends on the items you order, so drop em in the cart and check out to see!

Thanks hon. Wish I could take pics of the clothes actually on me (way more realistic than on mannequins IMHO) but I’m too pregnant πŸ˜‰

I have the same Pinata dress! Surprised they still have it in stock coz I bought it quite a while ago.

YES you were wearing it a couple of weeks ago when I saw you (pre-bub I think) and was gonna point it out, then I forgot haha. It’s SO popular judging from the ratings, so I guess they keep bringing it back in
