Hunter, Uncategorized DAD, OUR MOST TRUSTED BABYSITTER 19 May 2011

Just under one week before we bid farewell to Shanghai! Where does the time go?? Things are starting to get pretty hectic, with trying to organise everything and tie up all our loose ends, not to mention a whole bunch of farewell lunches and dinners.

We decided to get Dad on a flight here this week until the day we leave. Two words: FREE BABYSITTING!!! πŸ˜€

Having him take Hunter off our hands means I can focus on handling all our admin stuff for our move, as well as packing and sorting all our stuff. Our removalists do the actual packaging, but I need to go through everything to decide what we want to keep. It’s a massive headache.

Oh to have a baby’s life! Just chill out all day long,
whilst everyone else runs around like headless chickens

Thanks Pei..! I’m hoping to be in SG later in the year for a few days, to visit you and also a gf and have a bit of a food/shopping frenzy πŸ˜‰

Will be in SG in June too!

Hello! Can’t believe how you manage to capture those expressions! He looks so adorable that I just wanna have a baby girl quickly so that I can matchmake her with Hunter, haha!

Yes good luck with the move indeed, I totally understand the stress as I have just decided to move back to Singapore after 6 years in China, so will be leaving from Beijing, to Shanghai and then back to Sg too. Maybe we can finally meet in person back in Sg! (actually I just wanna cuddle and squeeze Hunter haha!) πŸ™‚

Ooo yes! I want Hunter to marry a family friend’s baby and not some lousy woman, teeheeeeeee

How awesome you are going to SG too – when? Would be fab to meet πŸ™‚

good luck !!!

Good luck with the moving, i know it’s not easy! Hope it won’t be too humid in Singapore, i sweated like a pig when i was there and just went to the shopping mall just to get the air conditionning lol. Life is easier when the parents are close to you, lucky you they found an apartment just above theirs lol!
Huggies to Hunter <3

Re: good luck !!!

Yeees it’s so humid in SG, that’s the problem.. if it were just 5 degrees cooler it’d be my favourite country!!

happy moving!

i think you’ll survive. it’s no fun moving with a new baby but seems like you’ve got it made with your dad to babysit and movers to help out … my parents moved from England to Singapore with 4 children under 6, including a newborn, no one packing their stuff for them and not a lot of money.

Re: happy moving!

Yeah I know we are fortunate that we have all the help.. it really gives me relief knowing that hunter will be well looked after! I am super impressed your parents managed to do that with 4 kids.. they’re like super-parents, lol!
