Made a bit of a random beef
The dish is pretty easy to make as everything gets thrown into a pot. Lovely comfort food and I reckon it’s pretty tasty! And with the added cheese dumplings thrown in, you don’t need to make a separate side carb dish to eat it with.. so it’s literally a whole meal in a pot. Nice with a side of garden salad though 🙂
Sautee 1 small chopped onion, 400g beef cubes (coated in a bit of flour, salt/pepper),
handful of chopped cherry tomatoes on medium heat until browned

Add 3/4 cup beef stock gradually, 1/2 can of beer, 1 heaped tsp brown sugar.
Cover with lid, leaving a small gap. Stir regularly for the next 15 mins or so on low heat.
Add in chopped mushrooms and 1 large chopped carrot
Cover with lid, leaving a small gap. Stir regularly for the next 15 mins or so on low heat.
Mix together 50g self-raising flour, 1/2tsp baking powder.
