Pregnancy, Uncategorized BABY LOVE 10 December 2010

Yesterday I received a lovely surprise gift – a Baby Love book! It’s a really thick book, thicker than the Bible in fact, LOL. It’s ranked Australia’s bestselling babycare book, and contains advice on baby’s first year and what to expect/do. Chris is reading it at the moment and reckons it’s really good, and very informative. I also like how it’s Australian, it really feels like home – the language, references, info, etc. Just feels so comfortable and familiar!

Oddly though, there was no card, no note, and no return address.

Who sent it to us? Fess up, please πŸ™‚

EDIT: So freakin’ coincidental it’s weird… but just as I was gonna post this, my girl friend in Australia called me and asked me if I received her gift. Turns out, it was her that sent the book! Thank you we love it!! πŸ™‚

haha even more coincidental, I wasn’t meant to call you, Manu did a pocket call!!!
Yeah my “seller” was supposed to add a nice message, oh well, hoe dodgy is eBay nowadays LOL (the book is new though!)

EH no need to read the whole book! Just read some sections you need or are interested in. It’s not like a novel, just a reference book with answers to mostof your questions and concerns. I think we only started reading it after Arthur was born. Before that we were still stuck with “What to expect when you are expecting”

But yeah, nice and warm Australian style. Glad you like it.

it’s a great book, thanks heaps! Chris knows a ton about breastfeeding etc now and was telling me what to do, hehe. Wish we were in AU though with easier access to everything (either not available here or super $$)..
