FASHION, Living in... Shanghai, Uncategorized RETAIL THERAPY 4 May 2009

Friday was a public holiday for us, which was MUCH needed because I was like a zombie from the strange sleeping habits I’ve been keeping lately (cos was looking after Star round the clock). Lounged about at home, mostly still doing the 2 hour feeding thing with Star, and watching a truckload of DVDs. I did manage to go out for a spot of shopping during the day though – just to maintain my sanity 😉 Changle Lu is walking distance from my place, and I’ve never actually been there, so went for a wander since it was such a bright and sunny day. It’s filled with little boutiques – which I prefer way more than the mainstream stores.

I spotted a gorgeous silk BCBG dress, all brightly coloured and with gorgeous stones/beads along the neckline. It’s a shift dress to just above the knees, so awesome for an office dinner function or out on a date. I love the feel of the dress, and the quality of the fabric and stitching. Can’t wait to wear it! 🙂

This park is right outside the apartment (which you can see in the background)
but I never knew it existed until I stumbled upon it whilst walking home!

Are we really in the middle of Shanghai city?
