Decided to make some pancakes for breakfast on a chill morning… The pancakes turned out brilliantly, except for one teeeny little thing – I accidentally added a lot of salt. Oops!! I was gonna add “a pinch”, just for a bit of taste, but ended up putting in over 1tsp worth without realising it…. So the pancakes turned out wonderfully fluffy and brown, except they were salty pancakes. Hah.

Chris still ate his, declaring them “still the best pancakes ever” Love really is blind. And taste-less πŸ˜‰


All the ingredients you’ll need

Sift 3/4 cup flour, 1.5 teaspoons baking powder, 1.5 teaspoons sugar, and a pinch of salt.
Add in 1/2 an egg, 1/2 cup milk, 1.5 tablespoons butter, 1tsp vanilla. Mix until just combined.

Cook on each side until golden brown

Served with a pat of butter and lashings of maple syrup
