So wonderful to have a place to go to like that. I think the restaurants we used to go to when I was younger with the family are now gone, except maybe the Marigold!
OMG you need to stop posting all this incredible food though, I’m dying here! 😛 I would go for all those dishes, but whoa, that is one of the most tender looking chickens I’ve seen!

I *think* the one you’re thinking of is Wee Nam Kee which is different, it’s the famous one but I think it’s good but nothing special. I like this Nam Kee @ Thompson road more 🙂

I ordered a similar thing at SuperBowl eons ago and whenever I try to order it again they give me some weird dish with tofu in it. grr at language barriers

Ooo I was wearing a blue tee and grey jeans, and white sunnies – I WAS wandering along that area before lunch though! 🙂

Yeah most restaurants come and go.. quite a few super old-school places are still here in SG though, impressively!
