Very cool to go out with cupcakes! And you’re quite right it’s a great way to meet the new employees in Shanghai. That’s a lovely photo of all of you and a nice card as well. Best of luck with the physical move coming up.

gorgeous.. this inspires me for xmas cupcakes for th workmates in little white noodle boxes!.. what kind of icing did you do.. a cream cheese frosting would go nicely with the blueberries and topped with some fresh blueberries and raspberries.. YUM.

Can I be nosy & ask what’s in the lil blue box?

I always admire how you bake cupcakes from scratch – I usually just get the ready-mix version (Greens, Betty Crocker) and pass them off as my own *blushes*

Mmm…. blueberry muffins! Yes there are ingredients here, BUT a lot of apartments don’t seem to have ovens. Make sure you get one with one. Probably if you find an apartment that used to belong to an expat you might luck out and have one. But it’s been hard here, no baking because NO OVEN TO BAKE IN!!! :o(

Ohhh great tip, I’ll look out for that! we’ll most likely live around People’s Square or Jing An.. hopefully it’s more of an expat area around there

Awww don’t worry Bev, in the very least you’ll be able to bake dried seahorse cupcakes or something along those lines for all your Shanghai colleagues πŸ™‚
