I actually wash those rubber in cold water and re-use / stick them at the shoes, and they stay quite well then… do u want to give it a try?

It’s not that that’s the problem.. I used them brand new and they stick to my slingback straps just fine, but the sides of the strip are also a bit sticky so they stick on my feet TOO, and so pull straight off the straps!
Seems like it’s a common problem that happens to everyone that have bought those straps ;(

I absolutely will do the same! I like to provide feedback, good and bad. Especially if it’s bad, I try to be diplomatic and understanding and just lay out the issue, not complain uselessly. And it’s not to get free stuff! Once, after receiving particularly good service at a retail store I asked to speak to the manager on duty after I’d paid for my purchase. I told the manager in-person what a great help the sales staff had been and that I was really pleased with my experience. I think the feedback was appreciated!

i was going to write scholls a nasty email about the EXACT SAME THING today! I spent $13.99 Canadian on my strips — and they’re garbage! I must admit though, I am a big fan of their “ball of foot” cushions!

I dunno why they just don’t WORK πŸ™ But they have new insoles that stick down to your shoe, and they’re made of a really soft fuzz material and padded – now THOSE are really good!

I have the gel cushions party feet exactly from the same company.

They don’t work at all, it just makes my shoes a little tighter.

And they are expensive here $20NZD!!!

That is quite a bit of Scholl products there hun lol.

Good on you!

Yeah they’re not very soft so I can’t figure out WHAT they’re used for haha. I like the cheap ones that are just foam with a bit of fabric!

Hmmm dunno? But I think in SG ppl complain amongst themselves and lesser so to the actual company? Then again, ppl are like that here in AU too.. it’s just me that likes contacting the company directly πŸ˜›

It def was lovely of them πŸ™‚ I dont’ understand why they don’t improve/fix their products though – when I started asking around EVERY SINGLE PERSON that has tried them hated ’em! :X

Scholls slingback straps are absolutely rubbish…as are their party feet which make your feet feel sweaty and gross. Foot Petals are far, FAR better!

Hollywood tape is awesome though, so at least you got that in the package πŸ™‚

Unfortunately these Scholl gel things don’t work well for me at all! They fall off or melt into a sticky mess. I have stopped buying them. I prefer Foot Petals – they last forever and are SO comfortable. Not sure if you can get them in Australia though!

I think those slingback strips are COMPLETELY USELESS.. and their ball-of-foot pads are so-so, because they don’t have an adhesive so they just move everywhere. But the other stuff is really nice!

I totally agree about writing to a company about their products, good and bad. I bought an expensive pair of athletic Skechers and wore it to work at camp, and not even a day into camp the shoes fell apart. I had to use rubberbands and staples to hold them together because they were the only pair I had! After camp I put the shoes in a box, covered in mud and all, wrote a letter about my experience, and sent the damn things back. A week later the company asked me to pick a new pair of shoes from their website and the shoes came quickly. So happy with customer service like that.

Oh oh oh my girl friend had the exact same thing happen to her! And I’ve got the same Sketchers as she does (the one with the net lining so your feet can breathe) so I’m really worried about mine now and try not to wear ’em too often.

So great that they make-good for you though, I still think they’re a good brand πŸ™‚
