Argh, the homemade Ice Cream reminds me of my ice cream machine tucked away somewhere! Should break it out again to make Durian Ice Cream! πŸ™‚

I think coffee ice cream was the first ever ice cream I made back when I was 14. Mmmm…. still one of the best flavours πŸ™‚

Oooooo yes! But, erm, not durian.. maybe taro πŸ˜›

Btw by “asian bbq” do you specifically mean you cooking up those burgers? If so, then yes I suppose I would have to agree πŸ˜‰

Hahaha, no my burgers aren’t counted. Basically what asians do is marinade everything under the sun. You’ll find that Aussie BBQ’s are typically unmarinated, with most of the flavouring added onto plain meat post grilling in the form of condiments. That’s the traditional Aussie bbq.

Almost all asian bbq meats are marinated and as such have a much larger flavour spectrum πŸ™‚ And there are usually more awesome side dishes too πŸ™‚ Sigh… I miss the days of hanging around the asian uni student crowd…. awesome bbqs…

Hahaha, when you move back to SG I’m going to keep buying you Durian until you learn to love it πŸ˜‰

Ohhh at Sharon’s dinner party she did steaks marinated in red wine, that counts.. she’s Asian and doesn’t even know it πŸ˜‰

Chris will eat my share of durian, thanks!

I wouldn’t particularly call it swanky, but it was definitely nice to get out of the office for the day, and away from all the distractions there
