Festivals, FOOD, Uncategorized KINGS CROSS FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL 11 May 2008

We hit the Kings Cross Food & Wine Festival last weekend.. Fortunately we were all bestowed with gorgeous festival-worthy weather – clear blue skies and sunny weather! We strolled up there to check out the stalls, but seemed like all of Sydney also had the same idea, as the place was packed. I like busy areas, but not when there’s too much jostling, and this really was almost crossing the line. It’s pretty obviously they need to expand to a larger area.. except Kings Cross is really small and that main area can’t really get expanded πŸ™ I have no idea what they’ll do next year, and the next… the masses will only get larger and then the festival will be crap since there’s just TOO many people in TOO small a place. D’oh!

Despite the annoyance of the crowds, the stalls sell fabulous food and wine. Idiotic queues aside, the prices are not too bad and it’s lovely having a munch of food and a swing of wine in the afternoon sun. Plus fun to poke around at the stalls with Mum and Dad πŸ˜› Hurray for nice weather and fabulous Sydney outdoor events!
