Spent the day at Paddington with my girl friends on Saturday.. doing what else but eating and shopping – it’s what we do best 😀 I also just realised right now that we spent about 10 hours straight with each other, *lol* It’s hard to stop us once we’re on a roll…

We started off at Bite Me, which is like our staple, standard place 😛 We girls love our burgers and fries!! No wonder none of us are ever (successfully) on a diet.. d’oh. THIS time, I decided to try out the Traditional foot-long dog served with American cheese, sautéed onions, tomato sauce & American mustard served on a soft hot dog roll. I couldn’t quite picture how long “foot long” really was, and I generally like side dishes with my meal, so I innocently asked “Should I also get fries with it??”, to which the (VERY CUTE!!!!) waiter grinned and said I wouldn’t be able to finish the hot dog as it was, so there was no need for fries. “But”, he said, “If you actually manage to finish that hot dog, I’ll give ’em to you for free”. I just smiled and noodled, thinking “Heh. DUDE. Better be prepared to cough up for the freebie!”

The hot dog arrived and it WAS big! It was mainly because the bun was just so damn large. Plus it was packed with onions and cheese. There was no way I could eat it daintily…. so I just picked up the thing and stuffed into into my mouth. Haha! It was really really good. The bun was all fluffy and soft, and the sausage was really tasty but not salty. The other ingredients and condiments were great too, but wasn’t a fan of the cheese, as it was more like Cheddar (which I don’t like) than like Brie (which I love). A fab hot dog though, and I scoffed it in about 5-10 mins.

Because it’s a small restaurant, other diners eyed me eating that hot dog, some with a bit of disgust/shock in their eyes. OH WELL!!!! I’m a growing girl okay?! Growing in every which way, that is 😉 The strange thing is, because I’m so used to eating a variety of food with each meal, I was full after that hot dog but still craving more food. In particular: Pat & Stick ice cream!!!! So we cajoled the (I must say this again: VERY CUTE!!!!) waiter to give us a freebie. Mmmmmmm yummy.

And so, bellies wobbling, we waddled out the door – happy and full 🙂 And now we have photos.. please don’t think I’m disgusting, it’s just that a girl’s gotta eat! 😛

Had a bit of a shop-til-you-drop session afterwards. We all went a bit mad shopping (pics of purchases in another post later!) but came away totally satisfied and retail-therapied 😉 You can always count on a good shopping session to put you in a great mood! On a side note, I have come to the full and very real realization that I need to somehow make a LOT of money, so I can shop and buy everything I want! Materialistic? Absolutely. But does it make me happy? ABSO-FRIKKIN-LUTELY!!!! 😛
