Love ricotta pancakes. Yours look divine! “Camp” make really good 100% pure Canadian maple syrup, we’ve been getting it since I was a kid…you should be able to find it in most supermarkets.

Gaaah, I’ve been wanting to go to Hurricanes for ages too…must. go. Looks so good! Steak, ribs, onion rings, chips…they’re singin’ my song!

Hurrrrrry and get better then, hehe! I think you should feel heaps better tomorrow fortunately πŸ™‚

i’m annoyed cos i was gonna bid on this Alannah Hill dress whilst I was at your place, but completely flaked and forgot.. and the dress went for $10!! SERIOUSLY! ARgh..

at least you have the best excuse to eat ice cream and chocs all day long… heheheh! And also veg at home and read mags πŸ˜›

100% Canadian maple is really easy to find. Almost every coles or woolies has it! If it’s not in the syrup section then it’ll be in organics. But it’s usually in the syrup section.

Hurricanes still trumps all the other more expensive steaks out there. Not only is the steak awesome, but so is the onion rings, chips, and pepper sauce. Awesome! Can’t beat a blue cooked steak πŸ™‚ It’s like a beef tataki that never ends….

i can never find the pure maple syrup! But then again I only shop in the city supermarkets, for obvious reasons…

I found the steak was good but not spectacular, I’ve had better at Prime and in the USA. But the ribs OMGGGGGGG :)~~~ And the onion rings were so good, but they over-oiled ours I think, it was kinda dripping….

We had the wagyu steak at Prime and found it extremely disappointing, especially considering we paid $150 each for a 180grams piece of meat!!! Give me Hurricanes anyday. The steak that comes in the ribs/steak combo is not as good though coz of the cut. You have to try the tenderloin. That is the one thing that brings us back to Hurricanes over and over again even though it’s such a far drive.

Yum, that dessert looks to die for with the chocolate just melting out! I love Canadian maple syrup, but then I’m probably biased because I’m from Canada.

Did you use the Bill’s recipe for the hotcakes? I love it, taste exactly like the one you get at the cafe. You’re making me crave the tenderloin and onion rings at Hurricane’s now!

Ya, i linked it from the previous post where I originally made it, if you want to find the receipe again. It’s seriously incredible that Bill’s charges the way they do when it’s only like $2 per person to make!

Sure! We’ve got a photocopier at home so you can just make copies of the ones you like. πŸ™‚

So we’re definitely on for the 16th?
